Sounds like it longer than a couple days that you've felt like this. You should not wait as long for the followup appointment, it should be 48 hrs later.
Thanks. I have a herniated disc with sciatica so I wasn't expecting instant results. It's a mix between slightly less pain in some places and more in other places.

I've always just considered it another branch of medicine and only recently discovered the naysayers.

It works because animals dont placebo but its got be done right, Greyhounds are manipulated by a dog chiro every mth and they can limp in and walk out, it all depends on the quality of the guy doing it, some are masters truly magic hands others are quacks that can hurt you.

It is normal that you feel a bit weird after the first sessions, you might feel bruised as well, but trust me you will feel relieved.

Went to a chiro couldn't move my neck for 3 months. After the first session I was able to move my neck without any issues.

How did that happen? In 20 years I've never had that happen. I wonder what the circumstances were?

Seek out a DC who does Decompression. It's very effective for mild to moderated bulges. Severe bulges are 50/50 results

Not entirely sure, but I assume he had some underlying condition that didn’t agree with his spine being manipulated the way it was. When he was in the hospital, apparently he was told chiropractor related hospital visits not all that uncommon.

That's strange and rare. Chiropractors have the lowest liability insurance of all health care practitioners. That's never happened to any of the people I've graduated with.

I’m sure it’s like that with most professions...negative outcomes represent a relatively small percentage.

My mom used to work at a hospital, and she always told me to never let a chiropractor manipulate my neck. Apparently she saw quite a few people in for scans and what not that had bad experiences with chiropractors.

I've had few neck adjustments but would never do it again...

Quick, thrusting movements done to ease neck pain—known as cervical manipulative therapy—have been linked to tears in the arteries of the neck. People at risk of cardiovascular disease ...

I've heard of many cases like that since I first became aware of things like this happening way back in the 1980's. I had a doctor get angry with me for going to see a chiropractor way back in the 80's. There are some doctors who believe that chiropractors are quacks and that if it works it's only because of the placebo effect. There are definitely some dangers in neck/ cervical spine manipulation. There have been some deaths reported. I've always felt uncomfortable with the chiros performing that quick twist of the head on me and after learning about the people who've been killed or badly injured from that move, I won't be consenting to that ever again.
