Great post. More people should see Chiropractors. Fix the cause of the pain instead of chasing symptoms with meds.

Went to a chiro for the first time this week. Everything somehow feels both worse and better.

If you've had a chronic issue, remember your body had been that way for a while. You feel better because you have less nerve pressure. You think you feel worse because the musculature around the area that functions and moves better is not used to the new range of motion so the muscles might feel a bit sore for a couple days. Sounds like it longer than a couple days that you've felt like this. You should not wait as long for the followup appointment, it should be 48 hrs later.

Be careful who you see. We are not all the same and have different styles and treatment techniques. If one does very little for you go see another until you get the results you're looking for. The philosophy is that the power that made the body heals the body you just need to remove the interference. By the way of all health care professions we have the lowest liability insurance. The numbers don't lie, we are safe. I only have to pay $2,000 per year.
