I can see your point and its definitely valid. Canelos best attribute is punching with opponents (kind of like Danny Garcia). At some point Manny would have to punch to avoid being walked down and I think Canelo wouldve landed in those exchanges.

Keep in mind Canelo landed decent leather on Floyd and Lara despite being outboxed. Floyd said about a year after their fight "I still feel a left hook from Canelo". Canelo hit every other opponent with much greater frequency and damage.
