Other than Golovkin, if you consider the guys he's been fighting recently as "top" guys then go ahead and keep believing that. Solid wins, sure, but nothing outstanding.Yes it’s dman time Loma faces a live body cuz who were his last two fights compared to Canelo?????
And name me one fighter in history who’s p40 who keeps facing top guys back to back to back it doesn’t happen that’s why they have tuneups.
Loma has had tuneups his last 4-5 fights Crawford faces nothing but tuneups.
I know the hate strong but don’t go full ******dd cuZ hate him.Comment

Nah they’ve never had the excuse to make it, until now...
GBP have been manoeuvring Lemieux towards Canelo since 2017, first he lost to Saunders which dropped him out of contention, they then started putting him on Canelo undercards, he was on Chavez, GGG 2 and meant to be on Fielding and Jacobs.
Then, pulled out the Johnson and Ryder fights which dropped him out of contention again. Now because of Covid, this is now viewed as an acceptable fight.
Golden Boy Promotions President Oscar De La Hoya admits that Saul "Canelo" Alvarez has several potential options for his next ring return, which is slated to take place on May 5th of 2018. Canelo was last seen back in September, during Mexican Independence Day weekend, when he fought to a twelve round split raw with IBF, IBO, WBA, WBC middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin (37-0, 33 KOs) at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
LAS VEGAS – David Lemieux more than did his part Saturday night. Promoter Oscar De La Hoya put Lemieux on the Canelo Alvarez-Gennady Golovkin undercard with the intention of matching Alvarez against Lemieux if Alvarez beat Golovkin in their middleweight championship rematch. De La Hoya said it’s “very possible” Lemieux could be Alvarez’s next opponent following the Mexican superstar’s majority-decision victory over Golovkin at T-Mobile Arena.
Despite the cancellation of his last fight, former IBF middleweight champion David Lemieux is sill targeting the possibility of a showdown with Mexican superstar Canelo Alvarez in 2019. Lemieux's co-promoter Camille Estephan indicated that his boxer is still fully focused on landing Canelo on the Cinco De Mayo date of May 4th, but the contest would have to take place at the super middleweight limit of 168-pounds.
There it is in black and white.
Lemieux is a world rated contender so it’s not a mismatch or anything but it’s hardly a matchup we can get excited about.Comment

“Had the excuse” They don’t need an excuse lol. Canelo fought Khan and Smith in 2016 despite widespread backlash. If they wanted him to fight Lemuiex, he would have fought Lemuiex already.Nah they’ve never had the excuse to make it, until now...

Time will tell bro. The pics are all weird because I have to use a wide angle lens. If I step back to use a normal lens angle she gets up and follows me. It's hard to get a good pic.Comment
