          The SRL payday was too big to walk away from. He should have retired after that fight though.

          He went on way too long. Watching him against Joppy was horrible.

            Yeah, but from a fan's standpoint I just remember how dreadfully boring that 3rd SRL fight was.

            I can't blame Duran for taking the payday though.

              That was a terrific fight because the expectations were so low. Duran did not have one muscle in his body and it was amazing to see that performance. He showed skills and a great chin. There is not a dull moment in that fight.

              Very close fight and the knockdown might have sealed it for him. I had Barkley slightly ahead but this fight was very close.

                Fair point. It’s probably the only fight between the four kings that lacks excitement.
