I read what Garcia is saying; let's see if the fight actually happens. There's any number of ways for him and his team to back away from the fight.

Golden Boy and Reynoso will be hesitant to accept this fight. They've invested a lot in Garcia, with careful matchmaking and promotion. We all know how quickly a fighters stock tumbles after a loss.

The sudden leap in quality from Fonseca to Campbell cannot be understated. Oscar has already stated publicly he's apprehensive about pitting him with Linares. Reynoso has also publicly stated that Ryan needs more rounds before he truly steps up to the elite level.
