A while back, Coppinger or Pugmire reported that Diaz' team was trying to circumvent the contract in order to get an "easy" title defence before a Tevin rematch. Obviously, JoJo took to twitter to refute such claims.

He might think JoJo is too small and beneath him, or a high risk, low reward. Diaz looked relentless against Farmer. I knew Farmer was a hypejob.

We want to see Haney do something, anything, before we crown him. People have to do eliminators to fight him while he himself is doing next to nothing. Why doesn't he fight one of these guys? Demand riskier fight.
