Campbell has fought the biggest names at 135 and proved he belongs. Ryan has beaten nobody, in his last fight he knocked out Fonseca, a guy coming up from 130.

I'm surprised to see how confident this board is, a lot of people believe he'll easily discard Campbell and thrash Linares.

It shows how good of a job Golden Boy is doing with the matchmaking and promotion.
    Top 5 beating who exactly?
Lopez has like ten fights and just had his first step up and the Commey win alone s***s on the entirety of Campbell’s resume.

You mention Ryan’s wins but who has Campbell beat himself exactly?

Theres something to be said about a fighters best performances being in losses.

    It says two things.
    1) hes not good enough to climb the hurdle. He never elevates himself past the level of actual victory he’s shown.

    2) he knows hes not great and pulls a Hatton, ie: if I only fight bums and some considered the best(no in between) my losses can be excused based on who I fought, ie the Hatton.

(Losing only to Mayweather and Pacquaio makes Hatton look good, but his resume is trash and actually called into question how good he actually was.
Unfortunately for him, he gave us the answer himself when he got battered and stopped by Vyochyslav Shevchenko, a Malignaggi victim )

Because Garcia looks like he has something.
He needs polish but theres something there.
Your not going to be able to tell that by backing euro fighters who all look like flat, bland stiff as ***** robots.

Like Ive mentioned, he's british also.
That is a massive cause for concern, there is no pedigree there and unfortunately for him, vice-versa, that is not the case.

Bums like Salgado, Yeyo Thompson, Pablo Cesar Cano had no problems getting Linares glass chin out of there.
I think Ryan can easily replicate that.

They are more confident then the actual fighter. Watch him turn down this fight and all his apologists will be out in full force. I wouldn't even be so critical of the kid but he just wont shut the **** up.

    Yes.
With what difficulty did Garcia dispose of the aforementioned Duno and Fonseca though?
    Is Campbell elite?
    No...

I think Campbell, on his best night, can definitely test him.
Thats where his luck ends though.
(Campbell is also british, which has one of the lowest hype to success ratios in the world and generally does not have elite level fighters)

Did Campbell do decent against Lomachenko because hes great or because it was another one of Lomachenko’s flat performances like against that Thai guy, Marriaga, Linares and Pedraza?
    Probably the latter.

Linares is laughably chinny. Garcia wouldve iced him in 2, 3 rounds tops.
Thats why I didnt want that fight to happen just like I dont want the Fortuna fight to happen. Linares can easily be knocked out in these fights.

See Ryan could ko Loma and Lopez yet it wouldn’t matter you goofs would still find ways to discredit him.
What's so good bout Garcia? He's got Golden Boy Behind him boosting him up, he's got a fair amount of female admirers and he's Mexican... that is literally why he's in the position he's in. What has he done as a professional? He's fought pure bums up to now!

Luke Campbell reached the pinnacle of amateur boxing by winning a Gold Medal at the Olympics, and in the pros he has knocked out an interim Lightweight champion, he gave a peak Linares absolute hell & was unlucky not to get the decision and hurt current p4p unified champion Lomachenko.

Its not even hating... what has Ryan Garcia ever done? He's clearly out of his depth here and will get found out brutally.

What happens in the late rounds when Campbell is bringing that pressure, something Garcia has never had to worry about before? I think it's best to have Garcia get rounds in with a rugged veteran who's going to give him rounds, but isn't the quality fighter Campbell is first imo
That would be a good route to take for Garcia. I just don’t see it happening. He seems to be in a rush to reach superstardom and I just think he might take this fight because of his ego.
