The unbeaten light heavyweight titlist has repeated throughout 2020 his willingness to drop down to super middleweight for a blockbuster showdown versus Mexico's Alvarez (53-1-2, 36KOs). Such a fight didn't seem like a possibility prior to the initial wave of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, as Alvarez was believed at the time to be on course for a showdown with England's Billy Joe Saunders (29-0, 14KOs).

That's awesome to hear. Just yesterday there was a story from Golden Boy stating that it's going to be very hard to put together a high profile fight between 2 champions (especially one involving Canelo with his purses) because of the amount of money needed and not having any live gates. So, if it's about legacy and not the money for Bivol, then I say Golden Boy offer's Bivol a cool 1 or 2 million to fight Canelo. Golden Boy have been interested in that fight before, so let's make it happen and see if truly it's not about the money. But I could tell you, it's always about the money...

Here's legacy but we know the game. He is trying to age out Beterbiev, same BS they are doing at welterweight with Crawford. The fight was offered to him over 1 yr ago.
