Bivol act like he dont wanna fight beterbiev either.

Arum already said he would do the unification with bivol and he still swerving

Bivol claims he's all about legacy yet he's done nothing to separate himself from the pack. I suspect the combination of Beterbiev's dominant performance and his getting badly rocked by Smith Jr caused him to reassess his ambitions at 175 considering he cherrypicked a bum after and has been more focused 168 lately. And it's not just Canelo we're talking about, he's also talked about wanting to drag up Callum Smith to 175 in a fight no one asked for rather than facing the top guys in his division.

Canelo almost lost to Austin Trout at 154 and needed WBC open scoring to help him, he got wobbled by Liam Smith at 154, he barely beat Lara at 154, old GGG who struggled with a welterweight Brook, a B+ Danny Jacobs, and a B+ Dereyvanchenko arguably beat him at 160, but this is supposed to be an interesting opponent for people? Come on.

I know Canelo is Mexican, and boxing has a big Mexican fanbase. I know he is good looking, and has a unique look for a Mexican. But boxing is a SPORT. Canelo is a good athlete don't get me wrong, but just look at what actually happened in the ring, he's just not that interesting.

Manny Pacquiao, he is interesting, elite athlete, proven performances in the ring dominating A+. Dmitry Bivol at 168 and 175, he is interesting, elite athlete, was in the ring against guys on Trout or Liam Smith level and unlike Canelo, barely ever did a round get scored against him.

These are top fighters. Mikey Garcia back at 135, barely ever lost a round. Lomachenko. Usyk. Crawford. Guys who barely ever lose a round against Liam Smith or Trout or possibly even a Danny Jacobs. Even Alfredo Angulo was appearing to get to Canelo late before stopped it.

I'm not saying Canelo wont win his fights. We know how boxing is, Canelo will probably not lose a fight until maybe the very end of his career, or maybe 1 out of a trilogy he will lose or something like that, but I'm just not interested, and that's another reason.
ZZZZZ is right, you almost put me to sleep trying to read this, it didn't make much sense and is all over the place.
GGG struggled with Brook, he ruined his career.

Damn good fight, I hope GB and canelo’s team go for it. And what’s all this with the weight on here? c’mon dudes, stop making excuses ahead of time because you don’t think Bivol can win.

I'm assuming you can't read. Bivol was offered the Beterbiev fight over a year ago. Hope this helps. Where in the world did you come up with Canelo? Canelo ran up to 175, cherry picked Kovalev with a double rehydration clause vs. fighting Andrade for undisputed on DAZN. OK, you were a bit confused.

Bivol dont wanna fight Beterbiev he knows it will be his title gone. Beterbiev is the man to beat right now at light heavy and everybody knows it.

Bivol dont deserve to fight Canelo. Perhaps being very boring fighter, he brings nothing on the table...

Is that really a surprise ? Bivol is a lesser Gvozdyk in my book (at LHW)... And he saw what happened to Gvozdyk and he wants nothing of that... Beterbiev would be even more of a predator against Bivol after taking the first shots... If anything Bivol will try Ginger at 168 and stay there... He could rule the SMW, no problem...

i admit i thought you were referring to canelo in regards to beterbiev... because i ran through and skimmed the page your reply very fast while multitasking...and because ive seen a bunch of people talking about how canelo wont fight beterbiev on this forum....i probably should have known better when you said "he was offered the fight a year ago" and knew you were obvi referencing bivol...i admit my mistake

but uhh...kovalev over andrade as an opponent? yeah all day...andrade is still fighting the luke keelers of the world and a 175 lb win over kovlaev, even a faded one, means more to his legacy than winning gathering another trinket in a division hes already proven himself in...against a guy that still cant land a decent fight if his life depended on it
