Good idea to drop out of High school for a boxing career?

I plan on dropping out of high school during my Sop****re year (10th) so i an focus my time on pure Boxing training for my amateur bouts.. i am currently 16 and i can go professional when i turn 18. So my plan is that i drop out of high school spend 2 years of my life training hard isolating myself from friends, social life etc. Seems kinda weird? but it will pay off later during my professional era that's if i stick to the plan and stay DEDICATED. Thank you for reading this post and please leave me some comments and your thoughts about my plan. Please no trolls. I want honest answers.

Have you fought a pure boxer or pure brawler yet? If you can manage either pole opposite with ease, then shoot for the stars as a pro.
You can always get your GED and pick up college classes along to way to evolve your thinking so you don't remain narrow-minded or financially-inept

Check your possibilities in advance in regard to finding a reliable promoter, if and when you turn professional. Keep hopes and dreams up, but also feet firmly planted on the ground.

      And, of course: welcome here!

        Highschool doesn't really mean anything.

If boxing doesn't work out you can just lie on future resumes/applications. Just say you got your HS diploma. If you really want to, go get a GED and a 2 year college degree if boxing doesn't work out.

How do your parents feel about your choice?

Have you beaten anyone of note? If not, then being 22-0 means nothing. I boxed when I was younger, and I could pick people on my street to fight and go 22-0, but I couldn't even last a round against any half decent pro if they were trying to knock me out. What's the rush? Finish school, then take a year out to train and decide what else you can do with your life. It seems like you're making a rash and rushed decision that does not need to be made yet. Keep boxing, for sure, but finish school, you're not far from the finish line, be a waste not to go through it.
