That punch just behind the ear definitely ruined that night for wilder. I have no idea about all this glove business but I suspect that punch may effect the rest of wilder’s career. He clearly had nowhere to go after that punch landed

He was already getting schooled and rocked before that punch landed. It only went behind the ear because he turned his head away after it was thrown.

It was a similar situation to the first KD in the first fight. Wilder threw a right hand which hit Fury on the back of the head because he was trying to roll under it. It wasn't a deliberate foul punch so the ref let it go.

As Fury mentioned in the article, does everyone really believe that Fury was able to bribe/con NSAC, Wilder's corner, the ref, the TV crew...?

If you've ever held a pair of gloves while on someone's hand it would take about half a second to realise it didn't fit or if there was paint missing. I'm sure the commission, ref and Wilder's corner would have found something and called them out.

I don't believe there's anyone that ****** to try to tamper with gloves with all the cameras and people against you watching constantly in a big fight after Margarito. In Fury's case it'd have to be one of the biggest conspiracies in boxing history

The gloves are inspected by officials from the sanctioning body and the State Athletic Commission both before and after the fight. It's impossible to get away with glove tampering in a big fight nowadays.

Hes been accused of removing the padding of his sparring gloves, which if true should be a life time ban. There is a video of the guy he was sparring who came and shows what he said are fury's gloves and the padding has been moved away.out.

I never heard Fury address this.

That got addressed later that day IIRC. They were older gloves that got tossed and replaced during sparring. They had wear, but they didn't have padding removed.

What Fury needs to do is start some lawsuits against these LDBC YouTube channels.
