Fury had his left hand on Wilders face but hit him with a right with the fist closed.

The other sequence he hit Wilder with the left but closes the fist and hits him with the fist.

By bending his wrist, Fury is probably just trying to get extra torque on the wrist to make the punch harder ... like how baseball pitchers pitch. Whether it helps or not, I don't know.
