Yeah, i admit that when i when i watched it again i had it closer then i did while watching the fight, i had Quartey still winning by 2 (and one round a draw) rounds with the low blow deduction, i still think it wasn't a good call but now its not that big of a robbery.
Forrest-Quartey.... I don't see the controversy

the irony to me is that for this fight i bet 100 bucks on Forrest winning by decision.
i also bet 100 bucks on juan urango to win by a decision.
both times i almost didnt bother to hear the scorecards read as i had pretty much conceded defeat.
not sayin this one was a robbery, but i had forrest losing by a point, and i figured i was biased being i had money on him, so the decision was a surprise to me. i thought vernon LOOKED beat, even though in reality it was a pretty even fight.Comment

man that fight wasn't even close.
there were close rounds which made it seem like a close fight
but Forest had at least 8 rounds.
He owned the ring and threw punches in bunches.
Ike was throwing strong 1's and 2's but that's not how you win a decision. He should've attempted more combinations.
Lampley, Merchant, and Lederman need to go.Comment

I scored it a draw and thought it was close. Anyone who yells robbery needs to watch the fight over, too many of those rounds could have went either way and Ike didn't do enough to convincingly win any of those rounds, as Forrest was the busier fighter and he showed that. I think Ike's manager (that white dude, not sure if hes his manager or what) was spouting some BS and everyone just seemed to go along with him. He probably knows Ike lost and/or didn't do enough to win so he tried to start the 'robbery forest fire'. Lederman and those HBO dudes cards obviously influence people too. Rule number one, never listen to the HBO analystsComment
