In addition, on FNFs tonight, Brian Kenny said he watched the fight twice and had it the same as the two judges, 95-94 for Forrest and guest analyst, Tommy Gallagher, had it i guess pretty wide for Forrest.. not sure about "wide" but hopefully HBO will see all this and not lean so much on a single scorecard from Lederman

quartey should have been penalized for the choke hold he put on forrest after getting hit with that uppercut, that move was straight out of a rodeo. dumbass ref just stood there saying break like a guy thats half knocked out was going to listen to him, only after about 3 seconds did he decide to do his job.

Ive only seen the fight once,but all I saw was Vernon backpedling and being ineffective with his punches.Id give Vernon 4 rounds at most,amongst which he had that really good round where he hurt Quartey.

People say Ike was being ineffective,but if you call Ike ineffective,I dont know what the hell you would call Vernon.Comatose?

Ive seen plenty of close fights where people call robbery if their guy didnt win,but in this case I saw a clear cut winner.

Im pretty surprised personally that people not only have it a close fight,but actually have Vernon winning.I mean I guess theres a huge disparity in how fans score fights amongst themselves were before I thought the diffrence wasnt really that much,give or take a round or two maybe,that I could understand.But ****, I think the sport itself is in real trouble if the people who support it can have such a huge disagreement,I mean this being one example, but then theres also Rabbah-Urango, theres just as many people who believe Rabbah was ineffective and Urango won legit.

How do you improve the sport,and prevent fighters from getting ****ed if the people who support boxing cant even agree?

I think the worst part is,whenever there was a robbery, I use to get pissed off, now I just kinda laugh and shrug it off.

See, Mech, it's all about point of view. Because in my view Quartey DIDN'T get ****ed at all... Hell, his workrate dropped off drastically in the last half of the fight.

Yeah its all about point of view...appearently.Personally I dont think it should,but i guess it does take something on the level of Len/Holy to get boxing fans to agree on something.At that rate you wont get anywhere as far doing something beneficial to the sport and for the atheletes themselves.
