I just lost some respect for Lennox Lewis. Here's why.

I never knew this, but I've been reading some articles that stated that Lennox was trying to get a rematch with Tyson. Why??? Tyson was a thoroughly beaten man in the first fight. Article said that he went as far as to sue Tyson for not fighting a rematch.

if he was willing to go through all of that with Tyson, why not give Vitali a rematch????? Vitali wanted the rematch, but Lenox went silent. I had no problem at all with just retiring after the fight as he knew that it was his time to hang them up.

But that is very disgraceful how he went through so much effort to drag Tyson back in for a rematch, yet didn't put up nearly the effort for a Klitschko rematch.

    I'm a Lennox fan but that's a fair point.

Bro Lennox is going to be devastated when he hears this. Especially since he holds you in such high regard

Why is it disgraceful? Lennox was at the end of his career and looking for money fights. How is that so hard to understand? It is common practice for aging champions to look for money fights at that point of their careers. At the time it was muted as a two-fight deal, similar to Fury-Wilder. Lewis crushed Tyson though, and Tyson and his people didn't want to know after that. You trying your hardest to paint Lennox in a bad light. Moron.

Mike Tyson asked for a rematch post fight.

Tyson even coming into the fight, kept on saying 'He needed more fights before he fought Lennox Lewis'. This was a theme which he kept on projecting etc

Lets face it? If Mike Tyson came in at 220-225 pounds off his medication 'People would of been backing Mike Tyson for the rematch' even though he was beat down in the first fight.

I think at that time it was the only real mega block buster fight in the heavyweight fight game.

            It’s all about the coin
Who else would make him that coin , certainly not Vitali
Yes , I would agree that trying to sue him is extravagant but like I said $$$$$$$$$$$$
People go blind for coin and puzzy

Mike didn’t ask for immediate rematch he said give a few more fights he’d be ready . That’s neither here or there , Mike had nothing to do with Lewis promising a Vitali rematch which was not settled without a technicality.

Lewis also asked Roy Jones to fight ,up until he actually had to fight Vitali in a rematch when he became a mandatory did Lewis retire . Asking Tyson and Roy but not Fighting Vitali Really hurt his overall standings when you look back on it .

But hold on.... Didn't everyone and their grandmother want to watch the Lewis vs. Klitschko rematch since people were screaming from the rooftops that Lewis got lucky? I don't believe for a second that the rematch would not have done a lot of buys.
