It’s really not all that. It’s more annoying than anything else.
The elderly, with underlying health conditions are at high risk.
If you are healthy, it will feel like a flu.
Everyone reacts differently, YMMV.

No mater how many people succumb to it, 98.2% will be the elderly and sickly.
It's no wonder why we haven't been able to flatten the curve here in the U.S. and why rates of infection are again rising.

The results from this meta analysis (based off of 24 studies) indicate that there’s an optimal concentration of 25-hydroxyvitamin D. Although the function of concentration to RR is inversely proportional, at higher levels there isn’t a decrease in RR. Essentially the graph that visualizes the relationship is U shaped.
So unless you’re getting labs on your serum Vitamin D regularly it’s unlikely that you’ll be aware or be able to tailor your nutritional needs to optimize the benefits. Nutrition is critical to reduce the likelihood of developing certain disease states but in regards to how you’re immune system will respond to foreign pathogens, that picture is less clear.
SARS CoV 2 is an especially virulent respiratory pathogen. Aside from an increase in cytokines activity that is natural to any immune response there seems to be measurable increases in ESR and d-dimers levels which could explain an exacerbation in those who suffer from cardiac disease. An increase in both these markers can reasonably increase the risk of an ischemic episode.
SARS CoV 2 is still an unknown quantity in many ways, it’s ridiculous how so many people write it off. The individuals who seem to not take it seriously are laymen to science and healthcare. It may have had an integral part in destroying economies but to the families who’ve lost loved ones, I’m doubtful they were more affected financially than emotionally. In the end we’re all human and we need to be considerate of the welfare of others.
