You sound genuinely ill if being serious.

Considering Rocchigiani dominated Maske and Michalczewski after, it's rather breathtaking what Eubank did in there against him.

He beat Malinga and Thornton crystal clearly without being stretched, Malinga didn't win a round after the first two (apart from maybe the 11th) and was out-jabbed all night. Eubank sweeped the first four and sixth against Thornton looking better than lb4lb #1 Toney did in the first six vs TT (evens at that point, and never rocked and hurt like against CE in 9th/10th). Roy Jones, the best lb4lb in history (supposedly) didn't even land a jab against Malinga or much of anything til he feinted him out of position in the sixth and leaped across the ring like a freak of nature. Roy didn't connect with those 20 flurried shots against slippery Thornton on the ropes with TT arm hanging out socket!

He also landed more quality single head shots against Watson in their first fight than McCallum had, taking less right hands than McCallum had.

Eubank was at least equal best with the US based lb4lbers, and with the most murderous post-war schedule. Those transatlantic fights were hard to make politically.

Who would you say were the best MWs and SMWs of that era? I'm going through Toney's fights at the moment, but would appreciate a shout for who you think is worth watching. I was thinking to watch Benn
That’s not true. Some things aren’t arguable. Such as Eubank’s clear win over Rocchigiani that was mentioned earlier.

Those others, are extremely arguable. Including Malinga and Thornton.

I can’t see any way that you could logically claim Chris Eubank is a great fighter. His notable wins are extremely thin and he struggled and arguably lost to list of C Class fighters (at best)

You literally live in a fantasy world.

          A literal alternate reality.

If I didn’t know this already I’d assume you weren’t even serious.

            That's arguable. See?

            It's all just opinions

Still be grateful for your take on the best MWs and SMWs of the early 90s era. Otherwise, peace

Why are you wasting your time on a boxing forum, when you aren't a boxing fan?

Jim Watt on ITV had Eubank winning every round against Malinga apart from the eighth and eleventh with the first even. That's about right. That's not to say it wasn't a poor performance from Eubank - it was. All three judges had Eubank 5-1 up at the halfway mark v Thornton - you can't beat the champion from there if you can't break a steel chin.

Chris was also 5-1 up against that other peek-a-boo king G. Rocchi, again first four and sixth. Nunn really struggled to get through with anything early.

Thornton was ranked #1 by all four bodies.

I sparred lots with Chris at Jerome boxing club in Nyc in the 80s when we were amateurs and we used to run around Yankee stadium after a sparr ,we'd go 15 rounds if a tournament was coming up we both entered because we were the only 2 at 156pndshe always gave my brother Richard Burton good work when Richard was preparing for pro fights.... Very funny guy who split between Brit,Mother tongue and Yank talk , he apparently went back home to continue his career nd popped up yrs later of course growing up to be Chris Eubank who I can tell you has plenty of fans in the Big apple MI-DEH-YAH-YUH-KNOW RAGGAMUFFIN - KICKUPRUMPUS bless up Chris
