I love Fury, but Lennox and maybe even Vitali would most likely beat him. On a second thought maybe they are 50-50 fights as well

        Your sig.

I'm surprised I haven't seen Micky in every Fury thread out here.

its not about labeling yourself as the greatest thats important, its how many other people label you the greatest that matters

I hope that anyone with some guts in the industry informs Tyson Fury that, drug abusers and cheats are not in the discussion for GOAT status. Its a honor reserved for honest athletes, who never defrauded the sport or his fellow competitors.

Based on his fight with wlad I think he beats both comfortably.

He's just to awkward and has a great jab, he added power in that second wilder fight as well

I guess Fury believes PRIDE & ARROGANCE are the way to go. At least he’s being clear as to what his attitude should be.

Reading these prior posts are absolutely brilliant describing Fury’s deficiencies to his claim. To ascribe such honors to oneself could be seen as ambitious, but it falls faaar short of reality. Because he’s never had to “get up” (be motivated, conditioned and prepared enough) enough times for real ATG challengers that pose problems he’s never seen.

And Fury’s DRUG use, GLOVE use and WRESTLING use is a whole different story! Especially, when using them against a hard hitting twig (DRUGS PROBABLY weren’t used this time around though).

Fury’s boxing skills are really good, and would’ve been enough to beat Wilder (I believe) on Wilders lethargic “costume excuse” night off. The BEST FIGHTERS have off nights, ESPECIALLY if they REFUSE the use of DRUGS to help them win. The human body is a complicated thing, energy can be SAPPED entirely from a combination of things: thoughts (personal problems), a slight dip in proper dieting, and allowing those intangibles to help you skimp on proper training - all legitimate EXCUSES - but “excuses” nevertheless - never do you get props for excuses though.

Fury had the LUXURY to hide behind “mental health” issues that his fan base cohorts somehow turn into praise and a BIG positive - while Wilder, most likely, HAD to enter the ring during one of (maybe his first mental breakdown as a champ) his OFF nights.

ARROGANT Fury and his complicit fans will have a lot of splainin’ to do when “hand skills” and footwork (whether Wilder decides to work on a backfoot strategy or not) will be the ONLY deciding factor in the trilogy - that’s IF Fury can somehow muster enough SELF CONTROL to ‘box’ in a pro ‘boxing’ match.

Tyson Fury again proves he is the Donald Trump of the boxing world. Say something untrue enough times and a load of idiots will believe it. He knows his audience...

Wlad was old. Even Fury said he was an old man in the build-up to the fight. It was a good win for Fury but he wasn't facing peak Wlad and Fury ran from the rematch too.

Fury has beaten an old Wlad and an unproven Wilder, Both good wins but not Earth-shattering wins. Next comes Derek Chisora...
