Nothing can be taken from that fight, and have relevance now. Just sayin

Yes, it’s been a while since Crawford fought Gamboa but I’m trying to prove a point that Crawford, up to now is not hard to hit especially while he’s trading punches as you could see in his last fight against Kavaliauskas where he dropped on one knee after getting hit. Pac would hit him with punches from weird angles and his speed would give Crawford some problems. If he thinks it’s gonna be a one sided match like some people do just because Pac is old, he will find out what “rude awakening” is all about.

I don't mind if Pac beats Crawford as long as he unifies with Spence afterwards. I just want to see an undisputed champ. Is that too much to ask?

Crawford and Spence are more likely to beat him down and hurt him bad, GGG probably just sleeps him. BUT...if he should out speed Golovkin to a decision...Manny would've have a "never will be matched" record like the ATGs, Top 3 all-time. Then retire...win or lose.
That's fine, but he must drop the belt then and stop holding the division hostage.

We want to see an undisputed champion.

The nonsense were hearing in boxing just to keep peoples names in our heads when the UFC are actually putting in decent fights is why the sport is suffering so badly. There's no imagination.
I get what you're saying about Spence, but that's only now.

Spence called him out before he even spoke to Thurman to make the Pac Thurman fight, and before the Spence Porter fight. Manny clearly swerved Spence so there is no reason to believe that he would have fought Spence even if Spence didn't have the accident and there was no covid.

I don't know what he saw but its the opposite of what Mikey saw.

Pac looked keen to fight Spence before the Mikey, he was even planning to make a ring entrance.

I suppose he did technically make the ring entrance but he didn't want to come over and talk to Spence and when Spence made him come over, he looked uncomfortable and tried to swerve Spence's request to fight him next, and his swerved since.

I know Pac is a legend and I respect his talent and his pedigree. But with all due respect, if he is just here to hold up the division, then he must please drop the belt.

Anyway Haymon has Spence fighting Garcia next, so I guess Pac can fight whoever he wants next. In which case I don't mind if it is just a stay busy fight or a tune up as long as he has the intention to fight one of the other champions next (Spence or Crawford).

If not, kindly drop the belt and stop wasting our time.

I think he means "Crawford needs a Pacquiao blockbuster", Pac certainly doesn't need Crawford. I seriously doubt he would fight GGG, so there is no sense in discussing it. If his plan is to fight in November, then I expect we'll know who his opponent will be sometime in August.

Its funny because I often forget Manny has the belt. It really doesnt seem like he belongs in this era, although obviously he can perform. I'm not a massive Manny fan, but i dont think I'd like to see him against Spence or Crawford now, i think he should really bow out. He seems to have hes health. I want to see Spence Crawford, thats where its at at Welterweight, but i want Errol to have a warmup or two, so theres no uncertainty about hes condition. I don't know what the hell Garcia was thinking in that fight, on any level, even hes prep. It'd be nice if we could get Spence or Crawford vs Thurman, or even a Brook who's on the slide or Broner. Someone to wake it back up,make the matchup interesting again. In this case, unlike most, the best match probably does need a little time to be built up now.

Manny is dropping their names, I dont like the fact that Manny can use their names and the fans lavish BS praise on him for naming them but its wrong for these guys to say ok Manny lets go.

Manny is a current WC to me that means he is open to all top rated guys and they should be able to go for his title, thats essentially what boxing is about.

Manny is like a National Geographic protected species.

The real problem here are these young undefeated champions who wouldn’t fight each other, it takes an old legend like Pac to lead the way by fighting and beating another young and undefeated champion (Thurman). Thurman already fought Danny Garcia, Porter and Pac and Spence fought Porter but Crawford never fought any of these guys. Sure, they could challenge Pac because he’s a champion too but they should earn a “Pac payday” by fighting each other first and the winner fights Pac for the undisputed welterweight crown.

Spence himself said Pac is not afraid to fight anybody. Pac is not an arrogant person, he is very humble and people always think of it as a weakness until it’s fight time. There’s a reason why Nacho (Márquez’s trainer) calls Pac the “devil in the ring” and they will find out why when they fight him. It’s actually Crawford and Spence who are wasting our time by not fighting each other. They should do it first and the winner fights Pac so we could have the undisputed welterweight champion.

What you are explaining is true, Pac could make gg G look silly for long periods but it only needs one punch.
Nel o knew he only needed one punch against khan. Margarita only landed about one punch and it hurt pac
Khan has zero chin. He’s been dropped by fighters who i’ve never heard of.

Margarito is a swarmer, and he can take a beating. A swarmers chances of landing a punch increases as the fight goes on. See Mayweather vs Maidana I.

GGG is slow and methodical. And now he is even slower than ever. He is there for the taking. The GGG that fought Canelo twice was still good. But I don’t he’s any good anymore. Which is why his choice of opponents have been mediocre. They don’t want him taking another L vs some good fighter. They want him getting W’s vs no names and to take his next L vs a great fighter like maybe Pacquiao or Canelo. But they think they can beat Pac easily, due to his size. GGG and his team will think they would be cherry picking Pacquiao. But it would actually be Pac/Roach cherrypicking him.
