I think it is decided case by case, as is. And in this case this guy was found guilty and labeled as a cheater. In other cases they accept the tainted meat theory, or contaminated substance theory.

In 50 years of the rule does change, then all fighters will be able to do what they want, so it won’t be cheating anymore. It that isn’t the case right now so the playing field is not level when someone decides to do this.

I agree, I read the thread as a call to use blanket bans as opposed to how things are today.
The best outcome would be a case by case assessment but with proper penalties for repeat offenders such as a lifetime ban from professional boxing.
The trouble is there is no governing body that can police the situation. You'd need to get all the seperate bodies to play ball together and work as one.

I remember watching a video of Luis and how that fight and outcome affected him the rest of his life. It shows him trying to go to the home of his now deceased opponent to apologize. Pretty sad stuff. In all reality if these guys are making large amounts of money and others stand to make a profit, what does it matter if they "cheat". Who has the right to dictate what performance enhancers is legal to use and which ones are not? Going to the gym and lifting weights is a way to enhance your body, exercise is another. How is that any different from someone using steroids to enhance their body?

That’s totally different, I never said anything about a CLEAN fighter killing someone, I said someone who was tested positive for PED and then killed their opponent in the ring!

Problem is boxing is built on corruption, turning a blind eye and amongst other disgusting things yet we all still watch!

Maybe the fans need to start actually showing their power and not allow these cheats keep getting rewarded!

Like when Dillian Whyte popped he should’ve been shamed beyond understanding, when Luis Ortiz got popped, fans shouldn’t have showed up to his next fight, when Fury got popped, media should’ve been calling him out on it to this day until he submits an admits it on camera!

Too many times boxing has allowed cheaters get away and basically it’s at the point where I feel nothing will change unless something horrible happens and it’s on the biggest stage!

How can you prove that the PED's directly leads to killing someone? You would have to do some big time CSI type science to prove that. How much force was each punch that landed, how much force could the skull take and show at multiple locations on the head. How much pain could the deceased's body endure before it goes into shock and kill you. There is just too many variables that you cannot and should not just say PED's kill. That is like screaming "GUNS KILL". You tip toe a very fine line and if today's Covid Hoax has not taught you anything about false statistics then nothing will.

Tell me this, how is a drug that helps you shed fat and water and help you stay lean not necessarily gain muscle, how is that drug going to help you kill someone?

If so then the big names will have access to more high grade supply that will give them an even bigger edge than their A side status does!

I’m just saying in a sport that’s already pretty unfair even though it should be since it’s 1 on 1, why not make an example of these cheats and stop the cycle(no pun intended) here an now!

I also know that COVID 19 isn’t real it’s just F.E.A.R propaganda, (False Evidence Appearing Real)!

I know that the world governments are all in on it together but act like they disagree with different stuff to give the false appearance that there’s a certain system when in actuality it’s All just one big stage!

I think that if you are being paid to perform then it is your job to do anything and everything you can to perform up to the levels of expectation. I see no difference in someone who can afford to pay for a trainer, a strength and conditioning coach, a personal chef, have access to state-of-the-art facilities, to someone who has access to PED's with someone who is poor and trains at their local gym and watches youtube videos on how to get better, has a terrible diet and cannot afford proper equipment.

Honestly the whole system is a scam but in the end they do produce some quality products from time to time. If there is money involved you better believe that there will always be someone out there willing to break the rules to ensure they get a bigger slice of the pie.

Look at anything in life that involves money and you will always see that people have cheated to get ahead in life one way or another. I am not saying everyone has cheated but a lot have and never got caught.

In order to make an example of these cheats it has to be done by the viewers like you and me. If we really cared and wanted to see an end to this then we need to boycott any cheater and anyone associated with them until they learn their lesson. No amount of policing is going to fix cheating if the consumer still buys their product regardless if they cheated or not. I still remember how packed the Giants games would get just to watch Barry Bonds at bat. I only went to the games because the tickets were free mind you because I hate baseball and I do not consider it a sport. But my point is that he is considered one of the greatest cheaters in the history of sports and people still idolized and worshiped him.
