Comments Thread For: Boxing Turns Another Blind Eye

By Tris Dixon - It was one of the most heinous crimes boxing has known, and after a century of lies, deception and skulduggery that is some claim to infamy. It was 37 years ago this week when Luis Resto battered Billy Collins. Collins was 14-0, teeming with hope, ambition and expectation. After 10 rounds he had been battered to a virtual standstill and lost a decision...

One of the worst article of boxing scene.

This is a fucking temper tantrum article. This article have the same tone of Boxing News 24.

Jarell "****tail" Killer will be returning in an attempt to take another life. The people that don't understand what the point of the article was about are the same people who hate Floyd Mayweather and Deontay Wilder. ****tail Killer was the original cherrypick for the hype job in the US before he failed. And I remember all the hype jobs fanatics trying to defend that cherrypick. Then he got replaced by an even bigger cherry-pick at the last minute: Andy Ruiz. ****tail Miller knew he was a cherrypick and did what he could to even the playing field. He noticed the **** in NYC were bigger than natural and followed one back to its hideout. Then told the mad scientist responsible, "I'll have whatever they're having."

I think the writer is saying that cheating is wrong period, where you do something blatantly obvious like remove padding from a glove or something more subtle like take PEDs. The connection is in the intent behind both, which is to gain an unfair advantage against your opponent

The sport is made of murders and drug dealers.

Miller has been banned for PEDs in every sport he's been in from what I've read, yet still gets chance after chance to enter the ring..

if people like him causes serious injury, even possible fatality and then gets busted again? For me the association's also have to be accountable.

Boxing isn't for the faint hearted so adding something extra to get an advantage is crazy..

Crazy to think we hear stories of the old tricks and forms of cheating in some way and when they got caught, it was literally black balled.

Now, when money is huge we slap them on the wrist and welcome them back with open arms...

Didn't he fall out of a tree rescuing a cat and land on three different syringes? I mean, that's a credible excuse. I don't know why everyone in boxing is so cynical..

That JCC Jr episode was scandalous too. He refused to test, got banned in Nevada, and bought, err convinced Arizona to allow it. The fact that not even drugs helped him shows how shot he is and how right they were in Nevada.
