I can not read between the lines here. Davis looked bad in the fight due to injury I was surprised that Gambo stayed in there for that long. Is it a fight I want to see again ah not unless it is in a low level platform meaning Showtime I would watch. I mean Davis was fighting an injured older fighter from round #2 So with Covid and all that if Show is willing to put it up I guess? Davis needs to get into the ring and not with all his talk about PPV fights just yet. Maybe a rematch to prove his worth then a real solid fight with a good younger figthter Then he could take on a real fighter a tuff guy who is not a prospect or an older worn down fighter. Davis is inbetween a prospect and a solid proven fighter. To my eyes.

Courageous performance but not a fight I want to see again. I personally thought prior to the injury Gamboa looked like absolute **** and was notably slower.

The only thing that surprised me was Gamboa's ability to take so many shots.

It'd only be like when an aging Haye returned after an achilles injury practically scraping his backfoot along the canvas like a scene from a zombie movie.

No because Davis will take it a little more serious the second time around IMO. The kid has serious talent but lacks discipline. Just throwing an opinion out there but it looked like he didnt take Gamboa seriously so under trained and winded out. Just an observation.

He looks that way every fight. He's fat and lazy and it's why they won't put him against anyone good.

It was a courageous performance by Gamboa but let's not forget that the foot injury came as a result of an early KD. I understand Gamboa wanting the big fight and big money but they both need to move on.
