Not surprised at all to hear Greer lost, he's been pushed to the brink in his last 3 fights by guys at gatekeeper/fringe contender level. Knew it was only a matter of time before somebody nicked one from him

Mike Plania has a sneaky whirlwind left-hook, with great range.Comment

Great fight and the best so far.
Mike Plania look like the featherweight he is in this fight and Greer so little. I hope to see more of Mike Plania in the future and Joshua Greer Jr. can come back of this, is a matter of time.Comment

I was really looking forward to this fight and it didn't disappoint. I like Greer alot but thought he looked very vulnerable his last few fights and he was facing off against a guy who's only loss was to Payano. The later money coming in heavy on Plania was also an indicator that Greer may have his hands full.
Very interesting fight in that both men worked much better as the aggressor; Plania really seemed to need range to effectively land his whipping shots and once Greer decided to bring the fight inside, he looked the better.
I had Plania winning 6-4 rounds with the two knockdowns (96-92). I look forward to seeing Greer rebound and Plania fight again. A couple random thoughts: Moretti's scorecard was a joke and Plania looked so much bigger than Josh in the ring.Comment

Demarco should have gotten the decision but at least he's showing that he is not done yet and has something to give. Gave James a nice fight last year as well.
Really solid card, enjoyed it!Comment

But on the flip side, if Plania had more than under a month to train, he may have landed a greater volume of those left hooks to the head and body and had much better stamina later. Both guys need to work on some things. I just don't see either of these guys beating Donaire, Inoue, or Rigo.Comment
