Like more than Ryan makes despite your claims nobody knows him. Jermell doesn't have to pay a promoter on top of paying a manager. Al is his manger. He's pocketing money. He's definitely making 1m a fight judging by the way he lives or he would've BEEN filed bankruptcy or been. in the news for repo issues. Stop hating. His advice was GREAT advice as it's what will get Ryan paid what he wants. Ryan would make more with Al than with Oscar- which he's been complaining about. Fighters dont complain about Al, in fact Bob Arum has said several times Al overpays fighters and thats what's hurting Boxing. Al hasn't gone bankrupt. So I doubt he overpays them- he just gives them freedom from paying a promoter on top of having to pay a manager. That's 50% gone right there.

You're very welcome. I been studying history since 11 as a personal hobby and interest. I was fortunate to be born with both maternal and paternal GREAT grandparents so I can trace my family history back on both ends for 200 years, as well as I learned a lot about history in general. I made a mistake so I added an extra paragraph into the bottom of my last post- just in case you want to check it out.
And yeah- it's easy to see which Mexicans carry indigenous features vs which carry European features. Vergil clearly is of true mixed dna Mestizo decent. Ryan is clearly (at the very least) a Majority of European decent. I always tell people for a reference guide to what I'm educating them on just look up modern day indigenous Mexicans. They look nothing like Ryan or Oscar or Canelo. They also face prejudice across the country.
Again I added a little extra history on my last post.

On the flip side, I would assume that Vergil would be perceived as being "of the people" while Ryan/Canelo (though he comes from a very humble background) would be perceived as being of the elite/ruling class?

That being said, I wonder if the PBC business model is set up in a way where the boxer has to actually pay the "ad hoc" promoter of the event (TGB Promotions for example) for tax reasons for example or Haymon/PBC pays the "ad hoc" promoter.

$200,000 given the current environment is fair. There are no audiences and no ticket sales right now to generate revenue.

As others mentioned Shakur Stevenson got $400,000 and he has actually been a world champion.

What is Ryan expecting?
