Boxing promoters need to dissapear from boxing. Boxing needs one governing body like ufc. To much politics in boxing. Everyone talking crap and no fights ever getting made consistently. It's sad to watch for boxing fans. I'm a huge boxing fan but ufc runs their buissness much better

Ufc is not a governing body. They are a promotional company, like Top Rank, but with much more power and a near-monopoly in MMA.
But I get your point, they nearly always get the big fights made.

While I agree with what you’re trying to suggest, this is actually a common misconception. There are many MMA leagues and organizations, it just so happens that UFC was really one of the very first and took the early monopoly. However MMA is really in the infancy of it’s lifecycle and may look very similar to boxing in 50 or so years (If combat sports are even a thing by then).

As far as the article is concerned, I think it’s very easy for White to play the superiority card, though we have really have no idea if the UFC would have performed any better on a Tuesday or Thursday during these times. It feels more like he’s simply being opportunistic and relishing a chance to swipe at Bob with some real justification for a change.

Yeah a couple fighters test positive ( one being disputed ). But aside from that you got Good numbers and notoriety.
