How is listing available ratings for both from Jan-March cherry picking?
As I said, PBC benefits massively from the Fox slot, when its on showtime or FS1 the numbers are Bellator level. Then add to that that PBC has put out 6 PPVs from 2018 to now while the UFC has put out THIRTY over the same time frame averaging comparable numbers, plus it has its own video game, and I really dont see how the claim could be made that PBC is the biggest combat sports promotion in the US. The average person on the street doesnt even know what "PBC" is for ****s sake while the UFC is a major brand. If you reversed the roles and had PBC on ESPN trying to fill out PPVs every month their numbers would suck compared to what the UFC gets.
Boxing hasnt been "much" bigger than MMA in America for over a decade at this point. Its still got the edge when you consider the combined forces of PBC, Top Rank and Golden Boy, but its pretty marginal. On any given weekend theres a good chance that the biggest thing going on in combat sports is a UFC card.
