Lol I mean no one controls 168 until we see the top guys fight each other but it definitely isn't canelo who doesn't have a real belt in the division.

That said the biggest fight that can be made is Plant vs Canelo. Plant got great ratings against Uzcategui and Canelo is the biggest star in the sport by far.

There's no question that Smith was very lucky to get the nod over Ryder & that has effected his credibility massively. However he doe's hold the Ring magazine belt, which is of course the #1 prize in the sport. Therefore Smith get's my vote as the Man to beat @ 168Lb!..

Calum, even if he did struggle is the “peak” of that mountain right now. Love Plant and he’s easily the sharpest of Callum and Benavidez but he already pulled his “I need more time” stunt against small ass weight hopping Canelo. I think it goes

Callum, Caleb, Benavidez if we go by merit. But Benavidez seems to be the one we all kind of suspect will be the guy if they got into fights between the three. I’m really high on Plant though and they all would be toss up type fights against each other imo.

I suspect that right now, if they fought tomorrow, Plant will stylistically be a tougher matchup for Canelo. But I guess he felt differently.
