Boxing wise, I like Plant's skillset but is it refined yet to the point where he can clearly win 7 rounds vs Canelo in Vegas (or wherever)?
As for Plant acting a bit entitled lately, I think it stems from him knowing that Haymon and FOX are deeply invested in making him a star (there is money and a star to be made with a white slick/elusive fighter with "swag" who hails from the South). Plant selling out Bridgestone Arena in Nashville against a very overmatched opponent on FOX seems to indicate such investment. So, unlike Ruiz who had to jump on the Joshua opportunity, Plant must feel like there is no rush because in due time, his team will get him the big fights.
Think about it, the Charlo bros have been making noise for much longer than Plant and have yet to fight in Houston as champions.
