Tim Bradley was a terrific win (3-0) and he was an undefeated 2 division champ who was unified at JWW. Never went on to do much at WW, but Manny showed he was a few notches above him anyhow
What are other opponents were prime when Manny fought them though? When looking back on his career a lot of his best wins seemed very well timed:
Mosley tried to fight Manny around 2009, even reportedly offering a catchweight of 142, but that fight wouldnt happen until Mosley was done at the world level in 2011.
Cotto was a good win no matter what people say, but it's hard classifying it a great win considering things. Cotto had a career changing loss (and beatdown) against MargaPLASTER and then probably shouldve lost the decision to Clottey. Then there was the new trainer, the catchweight. Still a good win though
Margarito was at a catchweight with a rehydration clause after getting TKOd by Mosley, caught with illegal handwraps, and winning a decision over a journeyman...making many wonder what happened to his "special" power??
People can do this with any fighter and any resume, but I'm curious what wins people rate as "prime".
