So the issue isn't about who should AJ fight first, Usyk or Fury. He should fight both assuming he gets past the first one. The issue is Pulev. That fight simply should not happen. Pulev should retire. Who actually cares about watching that fight, at least in the UK or the US? Maybe in Bulgaria, but nowhere else. No one wants to see AJ vs Pulev that's ridiculous. Pulev should have retired after he couldnt win 5 seconds of a round vs Klitschko.
Who did Usyk beat that’s better than Pulev? You lot need to slow down with the hype. Pulev is a skilled boxer - Wlad just took all his confidence.

Pulev has a better amateur pedigree than anyone Usyk has fought since he turned pro and the hypejob Luiz Ortiz. And I don’t think Usyk can beat Pulev. It’s going to be an ugly fight but I’d bet on Pulev to make it super-ugly and nick it on points.

Usyk needs to earn his stripes in the division before making demands.

And Pulev wasn't ever close to beating Klitschko so if you are going to use this triangle theory to predict Joshua v Pulev; Joshua wins in the 1st round.

They will solve this by promoting Fury to Franchise Champion if he beats Wilder again, promoting Whyte to Champion and he will fight Usyk.

I won't be surprised if it panned out that way. Boxing is more politics than sport nowadays.

As to whether Usyk has "earned" his shot, it depends on how much you value those particular rules of the sanctioning body vs if you think mandatories should be earned in the ring.

Me, I favor the later. But, the WBO is one of those organizations that explicitly states that a Super Champion becomes an automatic mandatory if he moves up or down in divisions.

So in a sense, Usyk did earn it in the ring, just not in the heavyweight ranks.

My personal opinion is that Usyk, despite his skill, will have all sorts of trouble with the bigger heavyweights.

              But, we will see.

No one cares about Usyk - he probably has 100 fans and 90 are Ukrainians.
I for 1 agree he should fight someone other than Witherspoon before he gets a title shot. I know he was the cruiserweight king but that doesnt mean he deserves to jump ahead of anyone IMO

Interesting to see the amount of support Usyk gets from forum members.
I tend to agree, and think Usyk can upset the heavyweight apple cart.

Beating Chisora is a good step forward, but is that enough heavyweight experience for Usyk
                  to challenge heavyweight champion(s)?

At Usyk's age (33) I don't think they can dawdle around for too long fighting meaningless opponents.
At the same time it is a massive jump, and Usyk does need time to adapt to heavyweight.

                    Difficult arduous task.

I am not from the other continent and I am latino, but still prefer history in the makings of two British Heavyweigh unification for the Lineal, Ring and Undisputed status. About Usyk, I prefer him to test against one decent contender and make a statement.

I have the same feeling that is going to happen and is predictable. First, Saul Canelo-Jermall Charlo, Lomachenko-Devin Haney and is possible, Tyson Fury-Dillian White. There is a high chance that is going to happen like you said.
