Where else will Jon Jones make $5M? He is famous now because of UFC and could make more (because of this) getting beat up in a boxing ring, but had he started off in boxing he would be a nobody making $300 for a 4 round fight, maybe get built up to a 10 round opponent gettting $20K. It is a different sport. Apples and oranges.

I can't see they have a case. If you sign a 9 fight deal you must have been happy with the deal when you entered into it and you can't complain about it a few months later.

The UFC lads are stuck between a rock and a hard place...

They know Dana is robbing them blind, the whole world knows he's robbing them blind. Even Stevie Wonder saw it a mile away...

However, where else are these guys going to be making the money they actually do for what they are doing? Dana has a stranglehold on them all with his "Business Model" as he likes to call it but these guys also want a platform to make money so they literally just sign the contracts..

The disgruntled fighters are just doing that, being disgruntled. They are trying the luck in this situation and rightly so. Will they squeeze something out of Dana? Of course they will. Will it be what they want? Not a chance.

Dana knows for every Masvidal, there's potentially 100 more waiting in the wings to sign for even a fraction of his money...

UFC is what it is and fans will watch regardless. Most of the best fights are from unknowns

Lol Jon Jones DOES NOT make $5 Mil a fight.

He gets paid a base pay of around $500K with maybe some ppv points % in addition.

UFC fighters are terribly underpaid in comparison to the fact they are outshining Boxers in this day & age.

A quick google search shows that Jon Jones’ net worth is $10 million.
This is their greatest fighter of all time and he has been around for quite a while.

The net worth isnt updated so could be from 2014 but even if you count it Jones fights once or twice a year, 2 fights equals to 5 mil each so my statement is still correct. Plus a simple google search can show you Jones said this already he makes 5 mil+ a fight. Youre missing the point where i said superstar mma fighters are getting screwed but the myth has to stop that superstar fighters are making pennies when 98% of boxers arent making what Jones is making. Boxers have a higher ceiling in pay but its such a common misconception boxers all make bank.

UFC fighters get paid peanuts compared to boxers because there is an over saturation of MMA fighters.

Everyone and their fkking grandma wants to be a MMA fighter. Not everyone wants to get embarrassed for 12 rounds by a superior opponent.

MMA fighters get lucky all the time with premature stoppages, lucky kicks and knees to the face and lucky tap outs.

None of that happens in boxing (aside from premature stoppages.) None of that bull shyt to bail you out. In boxing, the cream always rises to the top. You better have the skills in your fists and only your fists, otherwise it's going to be a long fight.
