Didn't Ugas get a shot at the wbc crown against Shawn Porter? What did he do with that?

What has he done to get himself back in the picture since the loss except for literally sit on his ass and fight no one instead of trying to get himself into another mandatory position.

Guess the Porter fight took alot out of him then you possies care to admit. He was super active before the Porter fight, but didn't call out anyone since then.
Ugas fought for an eliminator to earn a mandatory shot against Porter since Spence refused to give him his mandatory shot and went for a better ‘challenge’ with a LW instead.

Spence is flat out ducking Ugas. This is the old Fraudweather duck line used to duck Cotto in 2008 when Cotto was an unbeaten WBA 147 champ, Fraudweather said Cotto didn't sell enough PPV #s and he was from Puerto Rico. Truth was Haymon and Floyd could not rig Cotto who was with Arum.

Spence is a disgraceful duck. Protected fraud.

I agree and don't blame Erroll Spence for stepping aside Ugas. I mean Yordenis Ugas is a solid contender and all but for eight long years all the top welterweights have been ducking Erroll and time is running out on his career. He wants to unify the division.

Who would you say is the better fighter? Danny Garcia or Yordenis Ugas? Then how is this considered a duck if he wants to face the more dangerous challenger?

If you want a much better analogy it would be that Spence won't fight Jaron" Boot" Ennis! Nobody wants that work, not Spence, not Crawford, nor Pacquiao! He's 25-0, w/ 23 KOs, and only 23 years old!
Spence was 15-0 and had fought nobody of note in 2015. Ugas has fought and beaten better fighters than that version of Spence, not sure how you can argue against that...it's not up for debate.

Ugas is clearly a world level, high risk low reward fighter. Not holding it against Spence, just stating the facts.

Lol, you are so delusional! Spence didn't even want to fight Mikey Garcia for your information.

              https://www.boxingscene.com/spence-p...pening--137141

Spence's words and actions have always lead to one thing, unification of the belts on the PBC side, and then a final showdown with Crawford.

When Mikey called him out, Spence blatantly said that he would prefer Shawn Porter over Mikey Garcia. He even walked in on Porter after his fight with Danny and asked him to unify.

When they asked him about Mikey, he said he don't want Mikey he want Shawn because he wanted to unfiy the belts.

How ironic it is that Porter chose to fight Ugas instead of Spence, but you out here acting like Ugas is the Boogeyman.

How ironic too that had Ugas actually been good enough to beat Porter who didn't even train properly for that fight (and you can't even deny that he didn't train properly because Porter had never failed to make weight before that fight or after that fight. But he he failed to make weight in that fight), he would have been the one unifying with Spence.

              Yo boy is a joke.

When Danny lost to Porter, he stayed active and fought his way back to a mandatory spot.

When Ugas lost to Porter, he went on vacation.

But you out here acting like people are ducking this fool?

              Get out of here!

Keith chose to fight an undefeated champion for a unification (Danny) and fought Shawn Porter, which is a fight a lot of people were clamoring for. So instead of taking on a young up and comer (Spence) he went and faced the top of his division.

We'll have to wait and see what Spence does, but it's not looking good when he chose to fight Mikey Garcia over Ugas before.

I think Spence is turning into a diva.

Spence started calling out Thurman is 2015. In 2015 Mayweather held the wbc and wba belts, and Pacquiao held the wbo before he lost it to Mayweather.

Thurman only became champion in 2016 after Floyd retired.

However, he was making the excuse that Spence is not on his level in 2015, when neither of them were champions and Thurman's biggest win was a washed up Robert Guerrero.

This is not the same thing at all.

Spence is a unfied champion with limited time in the division because of his weight.

He can't afford to fight everyone because he doesn't have the time.

He wants to shortest route to unification so that he can move up.
Look at these mental gymnastics LOL

                      This is a blatant lie.

Everyone who follows boxing knows that the IBF doesn't compromise whatsoever when it comes to mandatories.

They are the only organisation of the four ABC belts that cannot be bought off or bargained with.

When the IBF calls for a mandatory, the fight happens or the guy gets stripped. It's that simple.

The more likely scenario is that Ugas went a different route because he thought Porter would be easier, or he ran away from the IBF weight sripulations seeing as he is such a big welterweight.

It definitely had nothing to do with Spence refusing to give him a mandatory, defaq you on about.

Not even Mayweather and Pac could have refused an IBF mandatory, why you think they never went after the IBF belt after they became household names.

You can go and do your research now and get some knowledge. You will not find a single IBF champ that was able to successfully refuse an IBF mandatory.
