Of course manny could win if it’s a catchweight. They are both money hungry so the fight could be made.

If you compare their last fights side by side, GGG is quite flatfooted and slow.
The only other outlying factor is power.
He took some shots from 165lbs 5'11 Margarito. But he was never knocked down.
His footwork is half of what he used to have.

GGG is too slow. No footwork. Low punch output. The only thing going for GGG is power. But with Pac's footwork, no need to worry about GGG's power. GGG might just be the slowest opponent Pac faced in years. But may also be the most powerful. Interesting.
Pacquiao by UD.
He sat on the ropes with a basic high guard way more often than usual against Thurman and that is something you should not do against Golovkin.
Canelo was able to handle Golovkin on the ropes, but he had slick defense and was able to slip and roll shots and his dangerous counter punches kept Golovkin honest.
Pacquiao just sits on the ropes and allows his opponents to tee off until he finds a spot to get out of the ropes.
Golovkin looks horrendous when he gets backed off, but I doubt than Pacquiao is able to back him off consistently.

People wouldn't deny Pac being cautious now and picking right time and opponent.
But gg g isn't the one you want to be cherrypicking.

I doubt GGG would fall into this fake BS and its probably just the same ol name dropping they have done for years.
I heard Floyd was challenging Fury for 168 bout for the HW title, said he learned a lot from Manny.

Half the time he was on the ropes, he was inviting Thurman. The other half, he was caught by a couple of shots from Thurman that pinned him to the ropes and but then quickly exits.
If you compare their last fights side by side, GGG looked sh.it. Ugly footwork and plodding slow. He looked sh.it against smaller guys that brings the fight to him. Derevyachenko is not skilled as Thurman. We will laugh at you if you say otherwise
GGG is actually ageing faster than Pacquiao.
