    Yes no ?
JMM hurts Keith mid fight. Stoppage isnt even out of the question.

Unlike Collazo or Lopez, JMM wouldnt land a lucky punch once. He was well aware of what he was doing. He would set traps, feints, and throwaway punches to land big shots...and he would land them.

Also, unlike Collazo and Lopez, JMM would have sustained success.

JMM 8-4ish decision (Thurman early lead with movement) or late stoppage

      - -Lotta blah blah.

Thurman has a bigger punch than Manny who had him reeling in 3 fights and Thurman a mover too. U boy don't handle movers well.

Why would anyone believe Thurman has a bigger punch than Manny? Did Thurman take someone's eye? Did Thurman KD HOFers like Mosley, Hatton, Cotto, Morales, MAB, JMM??? Did Thurman end a 1st ballot HOF career like DLH?

No. Thurman has zero impressive wins in his entire career. He edged Danny Garcia which is becoming more like a "prime Devon Alexander" win...very limited fighter and at best a decent win. And Ketihs win with Porter was a coin flip. Most felt Thurman lost but Porter was/is less marketable so they gave it to Thurman. And Thurman spit in PBCs face by actively avoiding Spence and Crawford.

So Thurman was never a special fighter. Hes a decent champion but he has zero good wins in his entire career. His power has never made an impact in his entire career when hes fought actual fighters.

If Thurman could be caught by literal journeyman - Collazo and Lopez are actual journeyman - then he could definitely be caught by a Top 25 ever counter-puncher and Top 10 in the past 25 years.

lol at Marquez beating Thurman. Marquez could barely move with those bad knees but he's supposed to beat Thurman at that date and time?

seems like a lot of people are taking the name JMM and putting them up with those other names, but really the thread is putting JMM through the resume at those particular times when Manny fought them

            - -Keef 25 lbs bigger than than U preBALCO Marquez.

Tiny Juan Diaz had him 3 sheets to the wind but could finish because he so Tyny, sorta like U IQ.

It's not that basic though. Manny was KOd twice as a youngster but has a jaw of steel now even after KTFO6 against JMM. Nobody would notice though because his chin is still all there.

JMM gets KD in basically every fight lol, but he also gets the better in basically every fight. The only clear loss of JMMs career was against Floyd - 2 divisions higher. Even his lost to Bradley wasnt dominant as most had it 8-4 or 7-5.

JMM would do well against Thurman and Danny Garcia today. In fact I think JMM beats both for several reasons. Porter and Spence are too big for him though but Crawford would be an interesting matchup. Crawford seems like he WANTS to fight instead of box and that makes him vulnerable. If Crawford boxes w/ movement he wins a boring decision, but lately he seems like he wants to fight and that makes things interesting bc Crawford has shown - especially early - he can be caught.

JMM is criminally underrated on this board and that saddens me. What an amazing fighter he was
