I honestly can’t imagine how Marquez would fair up against the likes of Margarito and Clottey. He’s just too small and he doesn’t have Pacquiao’s gifts to cope up with size disadvantage.

Against Cotto and Thurman might be a good one but I still have them winning over him.

He had Barrera in his resume so let’s just say he beats him too. Morales might be competitive.

Still loses against Bradley and Mayweather.

He might actually lose the Broner due to slickness (or maybe not)

Thurman is a nightmare for Juan.

Well, just look what happened after he knocked out Pacquiao and fought Bradley.

Bradley out witted him, and even handled Marquez's power well. Bradley put on a show and Marquez looked dull.

Hard to see how Marquez would win against the Big guys on Pacs resume ( Margarito / Clottey ).
But I gave him a 50 / 50 chance of beating Cotto when they were talking about making that fight.

JMM beats everyone Pac beat except for Cotto as JMM was too small at that time. Strangely enough I think Algieri couldve been a problem for JMM due to height, reach, speed, and insistence on movement.

JMM beats dead at the weight De La Hoya in a strangely competitive decision, beats Mosley in a fairly boring fight, stops Hatton mid-late, goes the distance with Margs but wins due to clean counter-punching, beats Vargas, beats Thurman, beats Rios...pretty much beats em all.

Not a knock on Manny but when you go back and look at his resume it's very convenient matchmaking. JMM from Pac 4 beats Cotto at any time in his career though

Not even close to accurate. Same stipulations so a CW of 150 with a rehydration clause of 10 pounds.
And this is Margs without plaster in his hands.

Margs had ZERO power after caught with wraps. Z E R O. No KO wins and I'm not even sure he scored a single KD against the bums he fought.

JMM brutalizes Margs but not as bad Pac did due to styles. Yet I could see JMM scoring a flash KD as counter punching has that kind of effect on flat-footed come forward fighters with no defense
