Fighters need to speak up publicly. Spence needs to say wants the fight every time he speaks. Same with Crawford. That will generate the maximum money quickly. Not fighting. They already have the records. Now it’s time to advertise. Spence is not advertising here.

I also agree there isn’t a lot of money to be generated like they want. There is a limit here. If they want to make more money they need to fight each other first.

Money used to be the byproduct of success, now it's the measure and very definition of success (for most anyway).

Who knows maybe their kids and grandkids might be more interested in their bank accounts anyway rather than stories of glory and winning world titles/unifications - just the way the world is.

Does Spence not realize Pacquiao and Mayweather were selling MILLIONS on PPV on their own before they both fought? Crawford vs Spence at its peak is a 1 Mill PPV fight in the modern era of "Live Streaming". Wilder vs Fury 2 which was a HUGE promotion by FOX and ESPN for THE HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP barely cracked 800K PPVs domestically. The truth is this fight will MAKE these guys the big money FOLLOWING this fight.

I would have though that these numbers would have been a "wake-up call" for everyone else: HW, Undefeated, WBC belt, BIG personalities, huge networks involved, huge promotion, in Vegas...800K!

Too bad Crawford is not facing Manny, because if he did, it would end up like Pac/Bradley 3 - and everyone would be upset that Crawford took an L against an old senator before realizing his "greatness".

Pac decides who he fights. He see Crawford as beatable. Spence is going to be sitting on the sidelines. Regarding Crawford, he has already been unified champ at 135 and 140. There is a reason the only PBC fighter at 147 willing to fight him is Pac. Porter, Garcia, and Thurman don't have belts right now. None of them want to try their luck against Crawford.

I highly doubt that Manny will fight either but if by some miracle he did, Manny knows that Arum and ESPN promote and pay better. The money the self promoted PBC fighters generate isn't even close and Manny demands a guaranteed purse.
