This would have been a great time for womens' boxing to prove they belong with their male counterparts, in terms of equal pay.
Put together an all female fight card, let them fight 3 minute rounds. Put it in MSG, on PPV. See if it sells, see if it sells out. I highly doubt it. Where do these females think that type of money is coming from? They can't generate enough publicity for that to happen. $5 million dollars? I saw Laila in an interview say it would take her 8 months to get in shape. If that fight were to happen, Clarissa beats her easily.

I don’t blame Lalia good on her Clarissa good boxer but no power whatsoever her fights not great she is the one who needs a big name on her resume get her backers to cough up I am sure she would accept 2.5 million

We just got done hearing Eddie Hearn and Bob Arum say that fighters are paid too much.

I'm conflicted. Because I believe Laila Ali accomplished enough to at least get paid $3 million to fight, especially if you're throwing Crawford that amount for sparking the B-level. At the same time, very few of the men make $3 million as it is.

That said can't fault Laila for asking for it. She's been outta the game for 13yrs & never really looked back much. Fook you pay me if you wanna take my 0 at this point I'd be saying too cuz I'm good either way.
