No, they're just plain haters, usually. Someone less ****** brings more concrete elements of discussion, which I always read with attention and genuine interest. I'm not a blinded fan boy, if you get my point.

I never cared a iota about imposing my opinion of Tyson on others. He was a natural talent, media hype or less, whose ultimate potential was unfortunately never fulfilled. We can just fantasize about the what ifs.

Everyone's entitled to their views. As I said, I have no more energies to waste on this topic. Say what you want.

27 fights in 20 months!!! Has any HW ever done that? That is like fighting every 3 weeks yet someone said he would have KOed him on his prime?

To play devil's advocate, can anyone in this thread list the victories Mike Tyson has over prime, ATG opponents and natural Heavyweights?
You can only fight who's around for you to fight.

He demolished a Larry Holmes at 38, who went on to beat Ray Mercer (who really beat Lennox Lewis) at 42, and who also fought his ass off against Evander Holyfield, landing 50% of his punches at 43 years old.

Oh yeah, Holmes fought until he was 50 & was never stopped by anybody but Mike Tyson.

He beat the guy who ended Holmes' reign in 90 secs.

I'm not saying he's the GOAT or anything, but to just dismiss what he did is ignorant.

Mike Tyson during the 80's was not in his prime, he was a fighter on the ascendance 'It is complete and utter nonsense the notion that he was in his prime at 20 years of age' That may have been the best version of Mike Tyson, but it certainly was not his prime 'Tyson was disallowed the opportunity to reach his absolute peak due to jail-time, and afew of his own bad lifestyle choices'.

But even after his so called peak 'Mike Tyson was a incredibly dangerous fighter, throughout his entire career'. Some of the utter nonsense, I read on this site? You would think, If you had not witnessed the 90's 'That Mike Tyson suddenly became a clown in the 90's'. Mike Tyson was a elite fighter right up until his last two fights, the man was always dangerous 'No fighter at those current times mocked his ability, there was always apprehension from his opponents and peers'.

Even in Mike Tyson's last two fights 'He was beating A prime Danny Williams around the ring as if he was a pin-ball, before he hurt his knee'. Danny Williams beat John Mcdermott twice, the same John Mcdermott that gave Tyson Fury two hard fights 'Some say he even won one of the fights'.

In my opinion even the 2000 version of Mike Tyson, would have most these heavyweights deeply concerned for their own well being 'If that Version of Mike Tyson was warped into this era, I don't think guys would piping up'.
        Right.

He was better than David Tua in 2000 and David Tua scared the hell out of lots guys
