The Morales fight made far more sense that’s why it happened. Pacquiao-Morales 2 is a PPV fight. Pacquiao-Raheem is a meaningless fight.

Nobody needed to “duck” a guy like Raheem. Raheem lost his very next fight to Freitas anyway then faded into obscurity. I did think he was unlucky not to get the nod against Freitas though.
Yes, I think Floyd fans go on a bit too much about Pac fighting people coming off of loss.
For instance Pac fighting clottey after clottey lost to cotto? Clottey did extremely well against cotto, some thought clotte y won. Clotte y weren't in races against pac, Pac outclassed clottey.
And why is Pac fighting morales worse than raheem? It's like people think you'd get no credit for beating Sr r after he lost to turpin or something?

Boxing is a business. Morales was still a far bigger and better fight.

Same reason I had no issue with Floyd facing Judah coming off a loss.

Haters are usually short on facts and long on opinions.
In the case of who ducked who, unless the poster is somehow involved in the private negotiations, there are no facts only speculation and uninformed opinions. Which of course, is the perfect habitat for the opinionated hater. IMO! LOL

True I was agreeing. You'd get more credit for beating srr than turpin

Yeah, sorry for the essay length post. But I say the same thing u did “I wouldn’t bet against Floyd ever.” He’s all wrong for for almost everyone. He did have a business model like u said. But still we can only make an assumption on who is the biggest “risk”. There’s been tons of upsets in boxing, and we get things wrong often, so he could have also. Was Margarito as big a risk to Mosley in hindsight? Anyone u never fought is the guy that would supposedly whoop you. Holyfield was huge underdog vs Tyson. Big risk? Not in the end.

You are judged on who you fight and who you don't fight.

Whether it's your fault or not. Could be the promoter or promotions. It could be you family like with Mikey Garcia his brother and father were against him moving to 147 but ultimately he made his own decision.

But you are going to be judged on who you fight and who you don't.

Fan boys do what fan boys do.

If you champion and you claim to be the best in the division then it’s necessary you prove that and beat the best that division has to offer.
Your career is judged on who you beat and when you beat them.
That’s how it works and you will be judged accordingly
