Hell I thought Mayweather was one of the greatest fighters I ever saw when he was Pretty Boy Floyd. When he morphed into Money May and started running around the ring apron I lost interest. Yes I know he had hand problems and he's still a great fighter but some people just don't care for that type of fighting. I've never understood the logic behind the PAC Golovkin narrative posted here constantly. Klitschko I wouldn't walk across the street to see his fights. Hate the way Ward fights with all the fouling. Love Lennox Lewis. It's not cut and dried like you are saying.
you have a known golovkin fan, yesterday, making a thread about how ward ducked a 5 loss fighter who lost to every good fighter he fought.......

yeah i understand that pac and golovkin have similar styles and certain fans gravitate towards that....but read my my first sentence and really think about it....

      C’mon man.

Or maybe he just fought Morales cause it was a much BIGGER fight and a chance to avenge a loss.

Do you consider you're offering reasons or 'excuses'?

Genuinely curious how you see the world here. You really believe you're the dude on the side of right and justice instead of just another dude with an opinion? You ever consider there's boxing fans who appreciate all different fighters from all different nationalities including middleweights from Kazakhstan who don't give a fuck about your petty tribal squabbles?

Maybe it's you with the narrow focus and appreciation that only extends to your own nationality and one particular boxing promotion within it? That you're the one who's bought a crafted narrative in support of that promotion? That thought ever occur to you, man?

And GTFOH with that racist 'insecure white men' crap, GGG has fans of all ethnic backgrounds and nationalities many of whom couldn't give two ****s about the racial tensions prevalent in the US as it pertains to boxing. I'm sure there are those kinda racially motivated idiots on here but the same could be said of any fanbase. Trying to tar everyone with the same brush is both childish and ignorant. You genuinely believe that kinda crap applies to an entire fanbase you're the one with the issues, man.

Those idiot Pacfans you talk about... yeah? Like you say the problem wasn't the fact they supported Pacquiao was it now? The problem was they were crapping on other fighters, right? So what does that make you when you're crapping on Golovkin's career man? You not see the irony here or you gonna find some way to explain why the reasoning doesn't apply to you? You have become exactly what you claim to despise, man.

There's a different path, man. One day you might even find it. You might need to grow some self awareness first though.
sometimes u fight fire with fire man....i give everyone a chance...i didnt want to crap on golovkins career.....but people crapping on more accomplished fighters careers and justifying every move golovkin has ever made or not made

i crap on guys when they deserve it....jermall charlo deserves it.....and i fully admit his career is wasting....im from the state of rhode island like andrade...ive wanted him to succeed from day one....ive known about him since he was a kid....i crap on him too...his career is a waste

when someone makes a thread trying to seriously act like ward was ducking a 5 loss fighter who lost every step up fight he had....i laugh and question the choices their hero made

i have no heros...when wilder lost, even though i consider myself a fan, it did nothing to me...i even thought his excuses were sad and comical....i didnt need to excuse it.....

yeah i have certain guys i like more than others...but ive had fighters that i liked that lost me...ive had guys i didnt like win me over totally.....my pride and internet presence isnt tied to these guys the way some of these people act around here....you have some guys that literally find no fault in anything golovkin has ever done and constantly blame everyone and anyone else....its kinda sickening

Fighting fire with fire is what has got us exactly where we are man, I have no clue which fan or fanbase first thought it was a clever idea to start crapping on the fighters themselves but where we are now no one involved can claim to be in the right... gonna be plenty of dudes like me never said a bad word about a fighter until up rocks someone like yuourself and starts talking smack about a fighter they follow... just like someone else talked smack about a dude you liked. Vicious circle see? A pissy merry go round. Like trying to cure terrorism by bombing motherfckers' families. The more any of us do it do it the more people get dragged in and whilst no-one will ever win we all lose.

But obviously it's completely unfair to single you out, this shit was going strong long before you joined in and I'm sure there'll be daft twats going at it when we're both gone. Guess you just pissed me off calling me racist though, got me on a bit of a rant.

Just have a think about it though, this is a community for all of us obsessives, but it's also a resource and maybe a gateway for new or potential fans who might be interested in the sport. This really what we want 'em to think being a boxing fan is about? There's no need to stop supporting the dudes you like, but there's better ways to support the sport than to talk crap about the dudes who actually lace them up and put their skills and wills to the test for our enjoyment.

Nah that was for some vacant WBC international title, which is just a fringe belt.

Why would he choose Morales? To avenge his loss to Morales and because it’s a far bigger fight.

Would you really rather have seen Pacquiao-Raheem over Pacquiao-Morales 2? I along with nearly everybody else certainly didn’t...
