I don't think so... because it was all about money
they ducked Wilder because they did not want the money-train derailed
AJ got knocked off his horse by Ruiz, and then managed to climb back on... but if he loses to Fury at home, it is over
they will avoid Fury for the exact same reason they avoided Wilder... to keep the money-train on track
they are protecting the money
my boy King Fury... is full of shlt
he will retire and ride off into the sunset, the very same day that he beats Anthony Joshua... even if they fight next... just like Fury has ALWAYS said, until very recently
the only reason why Fury recently threatened to continue fighting, is so that Joshua/Hearn cannot wait him out... Fury knows that they will lie to the fans for 2-3 fights and wait for him to retire/lose, JUST LIKE THEY DID WITH WILDER... so he is removing that option by bluffing that he is here for the long haul
he is signalling to Team Bullshlt... * in Fury's voice *...
... "you cannot lie to the fans forever... you WILL have to fight me eventually, because I am not going anywhere... and I will publicly call you a chicken-shlt liar with no balls until the day you fight me, so lets just do it now"
that is the reason why Fury has been signalling retirement for YEARS... but since the Wilder fight, started telling stories about fighting on for another decade
Fury is 1 fight away from retirement... IF, it is the right fight
Wilder should insist on the rematch next, because he may never get another chance
that is Fury's angle... AJ's angle has not really changed as far as I can seeComment

So you agree with me?
Hearn can no longer pedal the 'undefeated' tag to maximise his revenues. The fact he lost to a bloke from the behind a taco counter will hurt those future figures no matter what Hearn tries to pedal. We are coming to a crescendo in the HW division imo which possibly consists of a couple of retirements pending results..
AJ won't duck any one, but like I say, let's see what Hearn plans.Comment

no, I completely disagree
if AJ loses to Fury at home, the money-train gets derailed
they will avoid him for as long as possible, or forever... just like they did with Wilder, and for the exact same reason
nothing has changedComment

riiiiiiiiight
Hearn just noted that Wilder is unavailable... so he rightly, and smartly, jumped on the Fury opportunity... for... wait for it... Dillian Whyte
Mon Jun 1, 2020 - so yea, today...
Hearn: If Wilder is Not Ready, Whyte Should Get Immediate Fury Title Shot!
Promoter Eddie Hearn, who works with heavyweight contender Dillian Whyte, is not convinced that Deontay Wilder will be physically ready to fight WBC world champion Tyson Fury in 2020. Back in February, Fury dropped and stopped Wilder for the WBC world title.
explain to me why AJ did not immediately jump on the opportunity to unify with Fury... like he has been frantically telling everyone?
they will duck Fury... just like they ducked Wilder... for the EXACT SAME REASON... because, nothing has changed
sorry bud, but I saw it coming a mile away

Kudos and respect to AJ. That's a pro and a mature person. Hope his fan-girls learn something from his mature attitude and response.

Ajs got a Mando deal with Pulev next.
For me Aj has about 5/6 fights left in him provided he wins. That includes 2 with Fury..
I don't think there's anybody on here wanting a unification in HW more than me. The saga has gone on far too long to point of boring.
Providing Wilder gets fit in reasonable time to fight Fury and both Fury and AJ win them bouts I think that deal will happen...
It's all ifs and bravado anyways, wilder will fight Fury next.
I'll gladly bring this post back up and pat you on the back if that's not the case...Last edited by Bunch Pag; 06-02-2020, 02:11 AM.Comment
