Yeah but you’ve really chosen the low end of the market there Lol! But yeah most of the good brit writers are dead unfortunately... even broadsheet writers like Gareth the Arsehole Davies who wrote some awful stuff slagging off Peter Buckley Or some other solid journeyman as the worst boxer ever are tepid. His cringe screen presence also stops me from reading anything else by that twat. graham Houston is good. Boxing News has some good articles through doesn’t seem to have recovered from the awful Tris Dixon years... he really turned BN into a tabloid rag for teenagers. Christie is better but can be very childish with his analogies. Once spent an article comparing some boxers to Harry Potter books ffs. They’re some good freelance writers though can’t remember their names. Bunce who is detestable on TV has good knowledge but usually his articles are about himself. Unfortunately the far superior boxing monthly has folded - frankly I blame the fact they seemed to include 2 lengthy women boxing articles a month which were probably read by 5 people and a waste of print. The book reviews were always quality and funny - my favourite bit.

But I liked that Mikey Garcia got a mention in this article! A big win is needed here. This is why the Pacquiao fight is more than just money for Mikey, like everyone thinks. A win against a legend, a title in a 5th division. If Mikey can pull it off, he's a HOF as well! Bring the fight!
I hope they don’t deny Mikey a HOF pass if he doesn’t beat Pacquiao because the odds will be against him.

Isn't he also the one who broke the story of Dillian Whyte, before getting biatch slapped into silence for months after? Nearly got BoxingScene sued over that one.

Well put article Boxing is an international sport dominated by 4 areas of world usa puerto rico included latin america (cuba mexico) uk and russia ukraine region . i like at the end how it shows u can come back from defeat and be great none wrong with going 46-4 as long as u showed up for most the fights and made them exciting look at pacquio. Great elite only active that is qualified for great right now. Fury to me needs atleast 5-7 defenses of unified belts to be great similar for aj unless politics involved wilder needs to win a belt against and this time defend it against legit threats. Several more times to be great . spence needs crawford swift garcia ugas and porter rematch to be great craword needs ugas spence thurman and one of the garcias to be great. Ggg needs an offical win over canelo and a clear win over sergey and either a retirement win fight win or controverial loss like canelo vs an opponent such as andrade or charlo munia. Then ggg would be known as great in retirement . canelo is there basically id say 2 signifying wins away vs say billy joel and smith honestly if canelo beats 2 more legit 160 say sergey and charlo and beat saunder or smith then canelo gonna beat defined as great . 1 or 2 of the youngins from the group of stevenson davis haney garcia and the odd 1 out lomachanko have the ability to be great if they all fight eachother and win multi div champ i can see them all fighting eachother on up to 140 and haney garcia 154 ahh if only dazn can bring in pbc instead of overpaying boxers they could make the ufc of boxing and make the fights people want to see and all itd be easier to define ok pretty good good great elite . and for dazn itd bring to app hells subscribers long term having rights to the ufc of boxing as well as depthing bellator roster bringing in 2-4 more legit high name stars and doing crossover fights with kickboxer mma amd boxers dazn would be a hit then.

            Only greats right now

            Pacquiao
            Rigondeaux
            Lomachenko
Roman G as well... maybe needs 1 or 2 more big wins to be a lock

That's off the top of my head, might be missing someone

            NOT Canelo yet
            NOT Fury yet
            NOT Inoue yet
            NOT GGG

The notion that a tough fight with Nonito Donaire invalidates Inoue from greatness is ridiculous. I remember Floyd Mayweather struggling with Emanuel Augustus and far lesser competition.

Roman Gonzalez getting KO is no reason to eliminate him from this discussion, how many ATG have been KO? This happened in 'Chocolatito' fourth weight coming from 105! And hes still thinking about moving up, after reclaiming the WBA superflyweight title ; overcoming adversity after a career type ending brutal KO is what greats do! Roman Gonzalez and Naoya Inoue deserve to be called GREAT.
I can't help you if you refuse to read what is written. When the author writes they are IN the conversation for greatness and you conclude he has written they are OUT, what can you do?

[QUOTE=aboutfkntime;20588332]like I have said MANY times (too many to count)...
... Golovkin is very good, just not as good as advertised...

if you are not aware of that fact, despite referring to me as "the high-priest of the Golovkin hate sect"... then I can see what the problem is

perhaps you can tell us why a few months after refusing to negotiate on weight with Cotto and Canelo, Bullshltkin stated that he is willing and able to fight at 154, but nobody will step up....

                ------------------------------------------
                I rest my case- lol

the comment in your sig is HIGHLY amusing

                  " keeping it real "

                  LMAO

if you ***wits kept it real... you would be able to tell me why only a few months after totally refusing to negotiate on weight with Cotto and Canelo, Bullshltkin stated that he is willing and able to fight at 154, but nobody will step up....

the reason why you cannot explain that... is because you simply CANNOT keep it real

there is the straight, non-fanboy, perspective... and then there is your perspective lol

I'm not gonna argue with that. I can agree. But that just wasn't my point

The worst thing about your post (other than lack of punctuation!) is mentioning DAZN. What do they have to do with anything? Just another garbage spinoff that isn't what it was hyped up to be. Just something else we're forced into buying if we wanna watch our sport we love.
