its a fact floyds guarantee for hoya was 10 million not 20. its a fact floyd asked for a 20 million guarantee not 10 when he was with top rank

why the difference? why do you keep bringing up 25 million when its irrelevant to what he asked for? like i said you dont know what a guarantee is or you know you are wrong and are squirming to try and pretend you dont know what a guarantee is by conflating the total he made with the guarantees he wanted/accepted

Read it to yourself again. If you can't understand it, try getting someone to read it for you.

After buying himself out of his Top Rank contract, Mayweather took unprecedented control over his career. Rather than getting paid a large guaranteed fee up front by a promotor like Top Rank — as is the norm across the sport — Mayweather stages his fights himself and takes a cut of the total revenue on the back end.

he was offered the fight without options as well

"Arum and Diaz say that the 'Pretty Boy' was offered in the neighborhood of $7 million to face Margarito. In what could best be described as a 'business move', the same guy who brazenly challenged the bigger Winky Wright decided to bypass Margarito, to collect nearly $4 million to spar with Sharmba Mitchell.

"Flat turned him down like you can not believe," Arum said of Mayweather when he was offered a chance at the WBO title. "Any time we raised his name, Mayweather went crazy."

this is an article from businessinsider. they arent even a boxing publication lol. floyd always got ppv points even when he was with top rank. he didnt fight for flat fees if that is what you and the article are implying. please do some research on how ppvs work. he always took a cut of the back end which is why him asking for 20 million made no sense. he was going to get that no matter what but he knew top rank couldnt take the risk if it didnt hit that mark. golden boy couldnt take it either. his guarantees were even higher after leaving top rank so this article was hastily written and ill researched. what it implies is that floyd left and took smaller guarantees but more back end money. thats not what happened

Tell me which is more, buddy.

$0 for not fighting De La Hoya. Or $25 million for fighting De La Hoya.

Let's see if your math is better than your reading.

And feel free to tell me what his guarantee was for Gatti and how much he took home. We'll see if Mayweather was making more money or less money when he got away from Arum

Mayweather’s paychecks soared with him calling the shots. He pocketed $25 million for his split decision win over Oscar De La Hoya in 2007. The bout smashed the record for PPV buys with 2.48 million. The De La Hoya fight was the first of 12 straight paydays of $25 million or more for Mayweather.

The creation of Mayweather Promotions allowed all the revenue streams to flow through Mayweather. The middleman was out.

Floyd was terrified of Margarito and the video of Margarito confronting the fraud proved it (at Oscar Mayorga PC). The media pressure became so great Floyd had to use so many different duck excuses to shake off Margarito - C level, doesn't draw, one dimensional, nobody knows who he is, wont do business with Arum who is a grumpy old man, will fight him when the time is right etc.

Arum wanted it in April 2006 but Floyd ducked. Arum offered Floyd a career high payday numerous offers. Floyd ducked. Floyd wasted all of 2006 and then finally handpicked the bum Baldomir in Nov for the same amount Arum offered him to fight Margarito. Floyd was so scared of Margarito and angry that Arum was trying to set him up to get beaten up by Margarito he bought out of his Top Rank contract for six figures to escape Arum and Margarito.

Margarito was a terror back then. Ripping ears off opponents (Lujan) and beating the hell out of top contenders. Even beat up Oscar in sparring. Margarito would have eaten Floyd alive and Floyd knew it.

Haymon later told Marshall Kauffman, he would never let Floyd fight Margarito because "He's too big, too strong and he never stops coming."

              - -Called Winky too, and when Winky showed up at toprank contract in hand, SissyBoyFloyd fled for the hills and wouldn't answer his phone!

Well that "fake testing program" actually happened in 2015 so it turns out that demand was legitimate.

The stadium was never built which was a Pacman demand as well as Manny's 50/50 demand...as neither of those things happened during the actual fight.

                So much for "fake" demands

When Floyd was with TR Arum said that he is the best boxer that he has ever seen.

When he left TR, he is scared of Margarito.

Why people post anything that Arums says. He is a proven ****** liar.
