If you were to box and make it to this level you fear nobody, you are a tradesmen doing a job you are trained to do .

Its hard for a casual boxing fan to get his perspective thats its a fist fight out of his head and see it as a trained discipline where fear is not there because they know what to expect they have nerves and be anxious but fear no, its more just focus on doing a job.

That fight was all about money nothing to do with fear, at top level there is none, Margarito is a sloth he would be so easy for Floyd to UD.

Arum had a lot to do with it not happening there are a few good videos that gos into behind the scenes with this fight.

Can't admit something that isn't true. Rather than attempt to address that whimsically loaded question. I'll take a step back and address the mentality of the people who'd ask such a question.
      1. Cement-arito was a cheater & people who ONLY IN HINDSIGHT ask that question, do so out of spite. You idiots just wish Floyd would've been in the ring fighting against a guy bigger than him who had cement in his gloves JUST to see Floyd get hurt.
      2. Cement-arito was a NOBODY before Floyd retired in 07 after beating all the top dogs. Which y'all clowns strangely overlook. If y'all didn't give Floyd props for beating Ricky Hatton/Oscar de la Hoemo/Manny "Icy Hot Shoulders" Pacquiao/Andre "2x Champion" Berto- y'all would've NEVER gave Floyd credit for fighting an unproven Margarito.
      3. Wanna know how I know #2 is true? Y'all clowns didn't give Floyd credit for utterly dominating Shane Mosley- RIGHT AFTER MOSLEY BRUTALLY BEAT MARGARITO LIKE A REDHEADED STEP CHILD.
      4. When Floyd came back from nearly a 2 year retirement- he dominated Juan Marquez who was the #2 p4p at the moment. ALSO, Margarito had been pulverized AND exposed as a cement stuffed in his gloves cheating buffoon.
      5. No true Boxing fan, No reasonable Boxing fan, No decent human being, No sane individual would ever wish Margarito would've gotten the payday fighting Floyd like you damn idiots do.
Just watched the Floyd v Pac fight on Mayweather Promotions YouTube channel and the comments are extremely rational. I was surprised.

Actually it’s pretty well documented. Floyd bought himself out of the contract after that. You can find the ESPN article pretty easily.

Okay, my point is 8 mil was still a lot of money for a a guy the OP claimed was a nobody.

Yes he was Floyd Cherry-pick his opponents fight than old and wash up fight them weight drained , come in heavy on a 142 weight limit. Pick gloves for opponents pick refs for his fights and pick his own judges fight only in Vegas so he can go back home and use his IV Flush and inject Xylocaine

Honestly? Nope. Boxers aren't that scared of each other. He had a better deal and got himself free from his contract. I would have love to see the fight doe. But it would have been the same thing all over again, Mayweather outboxing Margarito and fans crying about a boxer "Running" etc.

Floyd is a lower tier ATG.
He's scared to fight abroad, scared of rematches as he's scared his opponents learnt more from loss and gained more from 12 rounds than he did.
Floyd s worried his opponents took more from fight.

And he was definitely worried about margarito. Great chin, longer reach, taller. You can count on less than 1 hand who were any good Floyd fought who were taller and longerbreach

If floyd fought him they would be calling him a bum and cheater like they do now. But since he didn’t they want to make it look like he was someone floyd feared.

I guarantee you they would be calling Robert Guerrero a monster Floyd feared if he didn’t fight him and He fought Devon Alexander instead of him.
