In all seriousness, I think Ortiz needs to notch a notable win before anything else. I wouldn't mind seeing him against Ruiz or Martin, Kownacki or maybe even Helenius (I realize not all of them make sense rankings wise but all are PBC). Right now, he has a win over Jennings and two stoppage losses to Wilder as his resume.
Joshua would’ve beat him up because he wasn’t in shape. After the Breazale fight when Ortiz got in the ring he had a gut like Damon Wayans in the great white hype.

Not sure if you are referencing my comment but if you are then he should have said "I just need a name and a date, I'll even go against Tyson...with my promoter's consent."

First off, great reference to Great White Hype. As for the fight, you may be right. I also think AJ was ripe for the picking on that night. I've read different stories why that may have been but I remember seeing him in the corner pre-fight and thinking he seemed "off".

This is why I hope he doesn’t ever get a payday against the brits, let him fight on his usual undercard of lightweights for a couple of 100k. That’s exactly what he deserves for ducking a 7m offer.

The excuse about Ortiz not being in shape is fake, in February he himself released a statement, it was like he forsee something happening in the Miller fight for AJ, like that fight wouldn’t come off. He said he was ready and would be ready to fill in for any kind of money. And I believe Ortiz or any decent HW would have stopped AJ that night. Fact is the excuse about him not being fit is fake news.

With Joshua signed to fight Pulev & Fury/Wilder just set, surely a WBSS @ H/W makes sense. Ortiz, Miller, Parker, WBC #1 Whyte, WBO #1 Usyk & Ruiz are all calling for title shot's so now has to be the time to find a genuine #1 contender.

They have to try and elevate Wilder’s only win of note. Fact is Ortiz’s own resume doesn’t even come close to Whyte. That’s why they try too hard. It’s laughable really because most educated boxing fan sees this jokers for what they are. If Ortiz or Wilder’s resumes are good you would need to crest a false narrative for them.

Ortiz said the same then that is fit and will fight whyte only to come out and say that date is too early and still fight on that same day on wilder's card

Yo Myke Tyson should pick on someone his own age, leave old Ortiz alone.
