Oh yeah, and his 'hands of stone' would hugely hurt Mayweather. Not to take anything away from Floyd but Duran was a monster at 135. He didn't just beat fighters, he destroyed them.
Floyd may have been up on points as the fight got through the middle rounds but every shot that Duran landed would slow Floyd down. In the later rounds Floyd would go down and stay down.
No offense to Floyd as he is the most skilled fighter of our times with stellar defense, fast hands and excellent movement. He has just never come close to facing anyone as supremely outstanding as Duran was at 135.

I go with Duran by decision that will look like the Castillo fight. Duran would cut off the ring and negate PBF boxing ability. Plus Duran had a much better defense than Castillo. His pressure and strength would be the difference.

i dont think so. ken buchanan is'nt even on the same stratosphere as pbf, & he gave duran a close fight, duran had 2 lowblow him 2 get the win

duran was great, no doubts, but pbf has the tools 2 back him up if he wanted & duran could'nt fight bein backed up

Your talking about a fight that Duran fought when he was like 20years old. Yeah he had a rough time with him but he was winning, he knocked him down in round 1 and was up 7rounds to 6 by my card plus the KD would've put him up by 2 points. Duran was fighting kinda dirty but we've seen other fighters do the same thing. Hatton had a huge low blow versus Tzu.

Also PBF doesn't have enough power to hurt Duran who wasn't stopped till he was 32ish and it was to a lightmiddleweight who had a tremendous right hand called Tommy Hearns.

duran says it was his best fight.

Duran lost to Benitiz and never fought him again, if Benitiz can outbox Duran then PBF will def outboxes Duran.

Duran has proven that he can't beat boxers with great skills, Leonard and Benitiz both boxer with skills beat Duran.

This fantasy fight def favors Floyd.
