There's a Big Difference between Ali and Pacquiao....
Ali is considered the Greatest because he Changed Boxing and the Pay Days....
At the Peak of his career 3 1/2 yrs was lost that We didn't get to see..

in terms of name value sure but didnt transformers do billions of dollars at the box office? were those the best movies? why is floyd the best because he sold the most? cant be his resume

i think what you meant to say was floyd and calzaghe were the two colossal titans of this era. that sounds more apt

just like floyd! floyds 2 years were lost because of fear but ali was scared of going to vietnam so they were actually one in the same when you think about it

I really don’t respect this brand of passive aggressiveness. I clearly said that porter was entitled to his preference/opinions.......but so am I. In my opinion, his preference is ****** and exposes some kind of personal bias. I even explained why his opinion is ******. I don’t need you to agree with me because “To each his own, ya know?”

The ali analogy is also invalid because being the “greatest” became part of the brand that he created for himself, and it stuck because of how he lived his life and the things he’s credited for standing for. I haven’t heard anyone credible really credible say he’s the best fighter ever though.

Outside of being a pseudo politician is his home country, pacquiao isn’t known for much outside the ring except being against gaysexuality. Again, may made more money, beat pacquiao head up, took less punishment, got out earlier, got out undefeated and without having been put to sleep by his main rival lol. Anybody saying that they’d rather have pacquiao’s career is an idiot or just saying it due to being biased.

I would choose Mayweather because of the undefeated record and the money that's all. A lot of people really despise Mayweather and that's how he made his millions off people chomping at the bit to see him get KO'd lol There are still plenty of people who would pay good money to see Mayweather get sparked lol Besides Manny got put to sleep by Marquez and there is no way in hell I would ever wanna get sparked like that in front of your wife, mom and kids that's the ultimate disrespect a man could receive lol

this is the way floyd fans see boxing. he got out earlier and undefeated... yeah because he took less risk! yeah pac lost more because he took more risk, but guess what he also achieved more. you are the guy at the 1/2 craps table who wins 10 bucks first roll and leaves. i got out! meanwhile at the 10/20 table some other person plays 10 rolls and loses 4 but walks away with much more in total. "glad im not that guy im undefeated!"

Not in terms of name value. In terms of being the best fighter of his generation.
