While it’s impressive that Manny won titles in 8 different divisions, it’s a ****** argument to compare that to Floyd only winning in 5 different weight classes. Floyd could only start his career at his comfortable weight coming out of the Olympics which was 130, at super featherweight. Floyd won titles in 5 consecutive weight classes, super featherweight title, lightweight title, super lightweight title, welterweight titles, super welterweight title. What was Floyd supposed to do, go and get a middleweight title, a super middleweight title, and a lightweight title just to say he won in (8) divisions.
Only (2) all-time fighters started at Floyd’s Professional debut weight or a weight above. Sugar Ray Robinson started his career at lightweight and went all the way up to light heavyweight but only won titles as a middleweight.
Roberto Duran started his professional career at super featherweight, and went all the way up to Super Middleweight. Had Duran won a title in every division, he would have had (7) but instead he won titles in (4) different divisions. But (7) still isn’t (8) different divisions had Duran been successful.
Now Manny is the only (8) division title holder in the history of boxing but he started at FLYWEIGHT people, 5 divisions BELOW where Floyd started his career. So of course he would win titles in more weight divisions with boxing talent on the same level or in the league as Floyd. How many divisions would Floyd have won in had he started at flyweight too. When Floyd won his 1st title at at 21 at Super Featherweight, it was against Hernandez who at the time was ranked by Ring Magazine #1 at that weight. If Floyd started his career at Flyweight with his talent, he would have won titles in (8) divisions too with ease.

I would take making the most money with the least amount of physical damage in my career over being a bigger fan favorite and a hero outside the ring any day. And most logical people on this forum would want to have the highest earnings with the least amount of risk to have brain damage later on. But this forum isn’t logical, I forgot; LMAO!!!!

OK, fine Canelo was weight drained, then so was Oscar and cotto when pac fought them, right? If Floyd took the easy route, then so did pac. Stop being a hypocrite.

Dam they were both 130 fighters and there PBF would destroy Manny, I mean ice him , put him to sleep, Manny was not in Floyds class at the lighter weights, Manny was nearly stopped saved by the referee with a C grade Hussain.
Early Floyd would so have blow Manny away.
