DAZN had a lot of good and competitive fights.
Yafai Vs Gonzalez / Martinez Vs Harris / Roman Vs Akhmadaliev / Farmer Vs Diaz / Martinez Vs Rosales / Joshua Vs Ruiz II / Taylor Vs Prograis / Inoue Vs Donaire / Hunter Vs Povetkin / Ortiz Vs Orozco / Hooker Vs Ramirez / Garcia Vs Vargas / Andrade Vs Sulecki / Dorticos Vs Tabiti / Briedis Vs Glowacki / Canelo Vs Kovalev / Canelo Vs Jacobs / Rungvisai Vs Estrada / Roman Vs Doheny / Taylor Vs Baranchyk / Inoue Vs Rodriguez

Most, if not all, the fights you list occurred before I signed up for a year, which was just before the Joshua-Ruiz fight. They seemed to have some good fights up until I subscribed but not after. Mostly I follow the heavier weights, and some exciting lighter fighters.

They should extend the subscriptions for people during this period of zero fights.

If true and DAZN actually flops, I'd say good riddance. Can't stand Hearn and his ilk. Take DAZN with you back to the UK, and stay there.

DAZN should certainly offer extended subscriptions or the ability to pause the subscribtion.

I wont fault DAZN for lack of content because of corona though.
Without corona, the following fights were scheduled to take place until end of may:

Briedis Vs Dorticos / Campbell Vs Fortuna / Prograis Vs Hooker / Kovalev Vs Barrera / Whyte Vs Povetkin / Canelo Vs BJS / Selby Vs Kambosos Jr. / Usyk Vs Chisora / Kelly Vs Avanesyan

For example, the Mikey Garcia vs Jesse Vargas fight was a decent fight...but the undercard? brilliant. Those were proper fights. Personally i enjoyed that.

We got to see Pacheco and Israel Madrimov who have massive potential. Chocolatito, Julio Cesar Martinez and Joseph Parker.
Julio Cesar Martinez vs the welsh kid stood out, that was a top fight esp from a kid who's a warehouse(amazon) worker.

The Miami card, sure they had a crap youtube fight, but Tevin Farmer vs Jojo Diaz & Roman vs Akhmadaliev were fking quality fights.

It looks like Akhmadaliev and Madrimov are going to be quite something.

Again lots of talents were on those cards and we also saw Andrade.

Then there was the Danny Jacobs vs JCjr card, once again with a stacked undercard.

if you're just a casual then you should have got the $20 one off fee.

OK, I did miss some of those fights, like Parker. Mikey Garcia is interesting. But I mostly follow the bigger fighters, esp. the heavies. I don't pay any attention to the teeny weeny fellers.

Yes, in retrospect I should have just paid for that one fight, or hunted it up on the internet for free.

                That would drastically improve Boxing.

Boxers build fan base organically and there are other ways to do that. It's not by fighting on big networks.
So you're saying Wilder being on Fox hasn't helped him?

Wilder sold 300k PPV for a rematch of a guy he KO'd previously. For a pointless rematch. A fight that shouldn't have been PPV in the first place. Yet he sold more than Canelo/Lara & Canelo/Smith.

That was all because of being on broadcast tv.

Crawford sells tickets better and gets higher ratings than anybody on DAZN sans Canelo ticket sales wise.

Lomachenko doesn't speak English & isn't American. Even with that handicap he still outperforms everybody on DAZN except GGG & Canelo.

Notice how the 2 biggest stars on DAZN were built by a bigger network, HBO.

Hearn can't get Andrade a fight with anyone on DAZN because he's not a big enough name for them. So he wants Charlo because he's a bigger name. Same situation with Tank and Farmer. Teo, Lomachenko, Tank and even fellow DAZN stablemate Ryan Garcia, ignore or clown Haney and Haney is a champ. He's begging non champs for a fight because they're all bigger names than he is.

DAZN has not raised the profile of one American fighter Hearn has signed. Ryan Garcia's profile was raised because he started fighting on Canelo's undercard.

5m viewers for a country of 300m is crap, but that's because of the past ppv model. Boxing can be HUGE in america alone, but globally? long term with high speed broadband and growing megacities all over the world, people living in high rise towers, with a growing world economy? streaming is the way to go.
                    you're underestimating the world actually.
Everything else you said is pointless. Five million is better than UFC. But since you think it's horrible then DAZN can't get a quarter of that. Which is my original point. There isn't millions of secret boxing fans who are just waiting on a cheaper option to watch fights. The market is not there.

California ALONE has the 7th BIGGEST economy in the WORLD. Nobody cares about the rest of the world when it comes to boxing. America is what matters. Inoue sells out & 20 million people watch him on TV in Japan. Yet he still had to come to America in order to make some real money & try to become a global star.
